Do u ever play any games on anything other than easiest ? try easy, no venture forth and try normal difficulty. The combat system now is still too damn easy, yet u complain about not being able to kill a scowling gingo, its not much indication of skill....

My advice,should u choose to accept it : Play pong,tetris,supermario bros, or quake. Those should fit ur dedication level and skill.

Basing your entire enjoyment of a game on the ability to kill 1 mob is rather ludicruous when there is a whole WORLD filled with other mobs.

If mob X kills you, repeatedly, why, for the love of Jena, keep fighting them? If going along path Y runs you into mob X, why, for the love of Jena, keep going down that path?

They have a radar for a reason, you can zoom in and out to see where the critters are. Experience should help you familiarize yourself with where the aggro mobs are as well. If running into a wall hurts, just go around it.

I'm sorry to see you quit the game, but saddened over your inability to try a different approach to your problem, and going overboard calling people names because of it.

If you keep dying to Scowling Gingos you are doing something wrong -

Either you are too low level (Scowling is level 40ish), in which case try Growlings instead, or maybe go for herbivores. Or your equipment is below standard and you need better armour, jewelery and a good weapon.

At level 40 you would have 7-800 health with +20hp jewelery plus armour and weapon bonuses - enough to take 5-6 hits and survive without even healing - add an extra 300 for a heal and you're laughing. You should be able to kill them in 4 hits so you have some room for error. Chuck an acid spell at it to pull it initially and you probably only need 3 melee hits.

I get the feeling that some of the people struggling are trying to solo aggro mobs which give them 3k xp. It's possible if you have good kit and skills, but you will have a lot of downtime for resting. When trying to level up, I find it better to go for 1k mobs and kill a load of them before I need to rest.

I can kill Strong Kizoars without too much trouble, but they do hurt me and I can kill 2 before resting. Switch to Vigilant Kizoars and I can kill 6 before resting, netting me 3 times as much xp and more mats. Don't get blinded by the xp per mob....use your noggin and hunt smart.

Of course taking on the big stuff is more fun. Sometimes you have to say to hell with the DP, I'm gonna try taking on this sucker. Some you win some you lose, but learn from your losses. If you get your ass kicked first time, odds are it's gonna happen again if you go straight back to the same mob.

I don't understand why anybody that did buy an game for damn €50 quits before he or she did play it an free month. I do just say don't buy an game if you quit it this soon. And please don't cry about patch one (all whiners lissn to this) its an great patch and I hope the SoR team goes on this way.
You can quit if you like, but I will call you stupid if you do.
