Other ways to limit dapper hemoraging during crafting include quarter anything you can, forage until your brain bleeds, do EVERY mob counting mission you EVER find as soon as you know where they spawn, even do the "urgent" ones...providing you think you can get to where you can target it before the timer runs out.
But no matter what, they need to tweek the rewards of missions, return the suppliers. OR triple the quartered mats drops and similarly triple the units of materials you can forage, and or adjust the paths of the agro mobs/guards for the BEST materials for some items (Big shells in Pyr are very difficult to harvest, either the node is WAY too touchy and depletes the ares within one or two prospects, OR is stable, but has three three star gingos, and from four to eight four star Goari guarding it.)
I have just accepted that until things are tweeked/fixed/adjusted crafting is expensive, and they have effectively slowed crafting leveling EVEN further. Which is NOT something they needed to do at ALL, and I honestly don't THINK that this is what they intended.

Re: Local Supplier
Yesterday I found next nerf ... the trading option is not removed of all npcs ... I don't know the right english name, in german they are called "Hausierer", think it should be something like hawker or chapman in english.
The have got same text like supplier "What I want to buy" and they have got still a trading option. Nice? Utterly wrong ! They pay the same price as any other npc.

Re: Local Supplier
Dont we like that the NPCs sell player crafted items?
How can one NPC pay more for an item going into the same pool?
Wouldnt that only be possible if the item wasnt resold?
Read the first question over again.
This is not a perfect explanation but what I was thinking while reading this.

Re: Local Supplier
I think you found the reason why they are "broken" at the moment.
IF they set the default on the resale to NPC only and NOT for resale to other players, I think the suppliers would work again. OR if they set the Suppilers to NOT resale anything EVER. Either way, I think it MIGHT fix them.
And our Euro friend, YES, you got the right NPC type there.
I appologize that both my French and German are horrible at best. In German I can count to ten (I think I still can) say please thank you and you are welcome. In French I can get a hotel room, order a meal, pay for the meal, find "companionship" for the night, find the toilet, catch a cab. But if you want intellegent conversation(something more than Anna Nicole's little show at the music awards)...LOL it would have to be in English... Pardon me, more like Texican/American (we do NOT speak pure English, ask the English, they will tell you so). LOL as far as understanding each other, in the US we have SO many different accents that sometimes we don't understand a WORD the other American is saying. (or like the difference in north and south, up north they speak at roughly twice the speed, sometimes even faster, than those of us down south).
