Re: No patch today?

It is nice to see that they are testing the patch before release. Wonderful news cerest.
navra, I have to respectfully disagree with you. I honestly don't care if the patch comes today, tomorrow or next week. All I care about is that they fully test it (which it appears they are) and that it doesn't bring any problems to the table once it has been released.navra wrote:"However, we were informed that there would be no patch today. Does this mean it is off? I need to know this as soon as possible so I can decide if I wish to continue logging in to continual frustration and tears or simply go away and find something to do with my time that is acutally fun."
Unfortunately, Tanna you do not realize you are dealing with a company that apparently has not heard of ISO (International Organization for Standards) SPC (Statistical Process Control) and does not adhere to trade association standards. They have no concept of "just in time" business practices and treat deadlines merely as a suggestion. Sloppy companies that produce sloppy products usually do not last very long, at least in North America. Note that Microsoft appears to be the exception. If you are not committed to do what you say you are going to do you generally lose customers, go bankrupt and cease to exist. I fear we are dealing with such a company in Nevrax and unless they change their operating methods I fear we may lose the game we love.
You've pretty much described the entire software industry.navra wrote: Unfortunately, Tanna you do not realize you are dealing with a company that apparently has not heard of ISO (International Organization for Standards) SPC (Statistical Process Control) and does not adhere to trade association standards. Ditto on that. Had more testing been listened to with Patch 1 the the general mood of the forums wouldn't be where it is. All this work just to get back to where things started.Mekos wrote:It is nice to see that they are testing the patch before release. Wonderful news cerest.
Well I guess Valve is going down since they were over a year behind releasing Half-Life 2.navra wrote:"However, we were informed that there would be no patch today. Does this mean it is off?
