All kitins have names that begin with "ki".

I will not say that Cloppers and Goari do not have a similar body style, however, they are not Kitins. The Cloppers in particular show some drastic departures from Kitin, while the Goari are more related to the Flora, believe it or not.

It's similar to comparing ants and lobsters. If you found a big enough ant, and had a lobster next to it, yes, they share some things in common, hard shells, lots of legs, etc. However, they are also two extremely different things.

While it has been said that invasions are caused by in game attacks on kitins, that seems unlikely since up till now invasions have happened on all four servers at the same time. Seems more likely that the few server events were planed and initiated by the devs, and for whatever reason, the servers are not up to the task of handling invasions on a regular basis right now. The only other aspect of invasions that has been confirmed up till now is that the GMs have explicitly stated that they do not have the abilitiy to initiate an invasion.

hmm, interesting to know they can't start them, but i have another fact to add to that: they are capable of taking control of the commanding entities involved in an invasion =)

anyone in matis that want's to play with some kitin head down to upper bog. in a field west of ecowarrior camp there's about 20-30 awesome kirostas with 100m aggro range

Cloppers and Goari are not Kitin, hence, killing them won't spawn a Kitin invasion.

If you want to fight hundreds of Kitin, go step into the roots and sit in the path of the patrols.

If you want to spawn a Kitin invasion, try killing some of the named Kitin that are above ground, or any of the 'destroyer' ones.

CP has killed a named Kitin the Grove of Umbra as least a couple of times and has also comitted essentially a genetic cleansing of regular Kitin in that area... no raid in Zorai.

Many Zorai guilds have killed hoards of Kitins in all 3 of the roots that blockade us. Seems maybe we triggered a Kitin invasion of... Matis?

Maybe the invasions happen in Matis lands BECAUSE the Zorai attack the Kitins so much. The kitins are terrified and going to the far side of the lands to find a way out from the fearsome Zorai
