Oh, Telanor. In beta I had an ATI 8500 card and used Open GL. I had problems back then, but it was A LOT better than running in D3D. Even with my NVIDIA 6800GT I crash like mad in D3D now. I have DirectX 9.0c installed and had major problems with ATI and NVIDIA cards using D3D for Ryzom. All other games work fine in D3D, so I'd try Open GL to see if that helps any.

Uh, well. Didn't work; in fact, it made my graphics suck and Ryzom still crashed.

I think it may be my sound card, but I'm having crazy amounts of trouble getting these drivers installed.
