I guess I will wait tuesday to return then, until the next patch....
92%... 3 hours and I get WoW
I do not know if tuesday I will still be interested in playing ryzom.
Damage on the mobs seems fine to me. I am level 88 (level 85 when I logged in this afternoon), 1500HP wearing full heavy armour. One and a half levels gained today was strictly killing predators, namely raguses and torbaks. Scary raguses (around L64) were hitting me for less than 100HP (after armour soak, 50% max 200HP, is factored in) and I could kill them in about 2 hits for very low XP. Menacing raguses (the highest raguses we fought at around L96) were hitting for around 300. It took about 10 hits to kill them. I think the hardest any herbivore hit me for was about 115 damage, maybe 150. Menacing torbaks (around L104) were hitting for about 400 with an almost 600HP special attack. Vicious kizoars (~L95) were hitting for around 200HP with a special attack of 600HP. Vicious kipees were hitting for around 250HP, with a full attack of around 400HP.
Solo, for herbivores my level, I was between 1400 - 1900 XP. The preds have considerably less XP and aren't really worth the trouble. Preds around our level duo were about 1200XP. Vicious kipees duo were around 2300 XP. Menacing torbaks were around 2500XP. Of everything we fought, only menacing torbaks, because of their speed and high damage, and vicious kizoars, because of the special attack, felt like a threat. Everything else was doable and challenging, but for the first time, we felt pretty safe walking around in Maiden Grove (L50-105 monsters).
Dodge was really working on a high note today. In one combat with a dangerous ragus, I dodged all but one hit. I'm wearing moderate dodge armour that I made. Some combat, I dodge more than 50% of the hits. Of course that drops depending on how much higher than I am the critters are.
That was my experience. It may be different at those lower or higher than me, but that's how my day played out.
Tin.
