I honestly don't get what everyone is so upset about. I really don't. However i am most assuredly not a high lvl character nor have i used one in the past. All i know is that since the patch i am able to lvl far more easily than before it. I was able to gain about 10 lvl in just a few hours. My average melee kill is getting me between 1800-3000 xp. I don't fight in groups because i live in japan and play on the us server, so i'm only on in the wee hours of the morning. I have seen fewer than 6 people on the entire time i've been playing.
I have noticed that magic is slightly less useful, but it is such a slight amount that it only seems to make combat more realistic.
I mean i hear everyone complaining about how hard it is now, but i just don't see it. Lvling in this game is still slightly easier than any other MMO that i've played.
They might have made leveling harder, but they absolutly did NOT make leveling hard.
Grow up. Don't complain just because you can't power level yourself to max level in a couple of weeks anymore. You might just have to take the whole month to do it.

Combat is quite good now. lvl 140 sells get resisted 3/10 times now istead of 7/10 on a lvl 150 mob. Has anyone noticed the effect of blind when it lands now
? Mobs do reasonable damage, and healing is still very powerful.

Grouped with some guildies last night.
We were very mixed in levels, we had great fun. Damage was not excessive, hits landed, spells worked.
We had a GREAT time.

8 of 10 fear casts resisted (9 on my amps and 1 cast to pull) all max spell level against a critter two levels below me.
After the third time this happened I shut the game down. We'll see what next week brings.

Just wondering if this was against the same kind of mob type or on different kind of mobs? Some mobs may be very resistant to fear (but not completely) much like needing certain elemental spells for certain mob types (ex- acid and cold will land on plants but do really crappy/no damage to them).

Same mob...bawaabs are only resistent to range attacks but I had similar problems against yber of even lower levels.
