I have a level 71 Zorai Melee and I get 1200xp for a hungry yber just along the border of The Void and Maiden Groove. In the brown area where the caves are. It took me about 2 minutes at most to kill one.

How does it take you 2 minutes to kill one? There are very few things in the game that I'm capable of defeating, that I cannot defeat in 20 seconds or less.

Are you interpretting, "I am having success" to mean:

I can attack, then run away, then attack some more, run away some more, and then defeat something.

If so, then you should be honest atleast about the situtation. As it stands right now no one is going to believe you spent 2 straight minutes meleeing a 1200 xp yber.

1000xp for a blooming silvani, took about 30seconds to kill one

These are solo too.

2 minutes is really a guess. It's probably much much less than that. I can go up, attack, and kill one without running away.

Winds of Muse is easy to get through, if your group knows what they're doing. We had a group make it through the other day. Fighting along the way. Of course, 2 or 3 of our members were over 100 in level, and probably close to 150, but the rest of us were in the 50s or so. So, it's doable with a good group.. and experience was still good for everyone.

As for soloing, I don't have any more issues now, than I did before the patch.. but I'm only in the 50s. I do understand it's much tougher for those of higher level, atleast from what I hear. Will be a long time before I find out for myself just how tough it is.

I wish you all the best of luck.

Hungry ybers give me 300 xp

:( big unhappy face

I have yet to defeat anything in this game after the patch with my magic that gives me over 600 xp without resorting to cheap tactics -

aka, hit the water ,break aggro, run out and nuke, hit water, rinse repeat

Did you not get the part where I am casting spells?

Not everyone is a fighter, the game plays significantly different for spell casters.

I read that, just didn't know that a person fighting with a sword was a fighter, and a person with magic wasn't. :) I wish I could help you, but I don't use magic at all.

Also got 823xp for a wary massab.

Also 1600xp for a scavenging izam

Yep, tried it on my Fyros. Also tried a NEW character and found I had to level my foraging AND crafting to the point where I could buy a FULL suit of store bought HEAVY Q20 armor and a Q20 sword and dagger of speed or damage (lucked out on sword and got both speed AND damage) before I could kill ONE yubo. SAD...very very SAD.
