if that isn't masochism what is called?
Why do you even bother to post on this boards? If the game is such a pain for you get lost.
If people still like to play the game in its current state so be it. I for my part do. Only things that saddens me is the amount of people it drove of.
I can agree that the rebalancing was not neccessary and they should instead have invested the 8 weeks development time in content. But they didn't so it does no good now to whine about the changes but either accept them or take consequences.

why I post here? well easy, I am unable to play anymore ryzom because it is utter crap now, full of bugs that doens't even make me harvest. and you people here provide me amusement and also keep me informed on if the game gone back being fun or it's still utter crap. I am truely glad of the massive amount of responses that my provocatory posts causes, and I am very amused by the flaiming results.
a friendly advice, if you REALLY are bothered by my posts... ignore them. I never forced you to read what I write... you are forcing yourself to read my angry comments about the game.

With respect, keri are you playing the same game as the rest of us ? The mobs are MEANT to be harder to kill now... Harvesting takes a little sorting out but once you suss out the use of terrain specialisation and care plans it's no hassle really.
Now I'm not so blind as to suggest I'm completely happy with the patch and I agree that they went overboard with the initial mob rebalancing, but for crying out loud 2 days and 2 patches because we demanded them is good going by anyones book. It's a more dangerous world now. As for grouping, since most of my melee combat xp was gained with a guild group pre-patch anyway, nothings changed there..

my inventory is bugged even removing the 'bugged stacks' didn't helped I am unable to pickup any new item. ergo cannot forage or craft.
I never used to group before I am a newbie to the game still and I find totally impossible to solo now. which is wrong.

keriann wrote:the difference between who like it and those who dont is:
1) who likes it is a masochist, likes pain, thrives on death penality and wishes their life be even more complicated, because mainly they are bored of their normal life and got nothing to do and considers themselves 'strong' because they prove they can take the shaft in a stupid game.
2) who doesn't like it is generally a normal person, who works, or studies, and swats their butt off every day to maintain their home, family, get a decent pay at work or get good grades, that when sits down at the computer is pretty fed up of fighting and working and just wants to relax, escape some from reality and have fun playing a game.
so for all of you that likes challenges, feels 'strong' because they can take a game bad sides and feels good grinding.... get a job, or get more involved in the game called REAL LIFE. in few words... get a life.
I could tell you what I think of you but I'm a mature person so I won't.
Fact! Those who are just getting on with things realise that there are more things to a game than having it on easymode.
You are stereotyping people because of how they see the game. That isn't a mature thing to do.
Instead of trying your best to make everyone else feel unhappy because you are yourself how about you just quit and do yourself a favour along with everyone else? I have a feeling the boards would be a happier place without you. In all honestly I am amazed that moderators haven't put a zip on your mouth by now.

I have same problem - I tried logging off, selling a couple of things, and exchanging with another player - none of this helped me.
Only thing that does work is to sell/craft the entire stack that is bugged so there are none left. Then it seems to be ok. Until the next time.

I paid for a month of enjoyment and this is what I am going to get. whathever if it's from the game, or if it's annoying stupid people like you that even bothers to read my posts. you are 'mature' enough to not tell me what you think of me..... if you would know what I think about you I doubt you would have made that statement. As for the moderators.... what moderators? have you seen anyone moderating the forums lately? or any response from the developers?
as for... knowing there is more than an 'easy mode' you think I just grinded away xp xp xp? hahahha now it's you who are generalizing... finally I found a game where level up isn't grinding.... I started so to work to improve other people lifes, getting in a guild and trying to help it out as well raising some money for it, I didn't had to bother too overly about leveling up because it wasn't uber super difficult.. which it is now.
tell me, seriously, now people are thinking more about tactics on how to fight and level up... or to roleplay?

borguk wrote:So ive been trying to like what theyve done to my favourite game but I cant.
So heres some observations Ive noticed.
1. Im an advanced forager and pulling 7-10 q110 mats a time is very easy with level 3 care plans and a crap load of focus. Foraging now is completely different to before and tbh u only need the core skills and as much focus as you can buy. Dont bother investing too many points in Will, its pointless.
Alot of the items you can spend your points on are now a waste of time.
For that reason Ive ticketed for a reset so I can put the points into just that.
2. Crafting is not really different to before, however you can sell your wares through the NPC sellers, only problem is there quality specific so you have to go to the town that has that banding. They should have created it so u could access all levels of player kit rather than having to travel to the outer towns. There on the right idea though. Also the NPCs price is way to cheap for the effort.
3. There is a major distinguish between those that can and cant play, those ppl who have there main chosen skill over level 100 are not fairing too bad. All those ppl under 100 are struggling.
Now no offense but those who are 100+ are the addicts and so really like the game beforehand and tbh were unlikely to quit after any type of patch. These ppl are not suffering the problems that the lower level players are and are taking any reference to faults in the game personally and I have witnessed some poor behaviour from those individuals. Well done guys, how to alienate the player base of the game you profess to want to support.
4. Bugs, alot more thats for sure. Gingos that if attacking in group will suddenly double rate of attack. Aggros that will lock onto you and come after you on burst from over 50m. Invisible walls galore. Spell failure and on and on.
5. Death Penalty - I get 54k a death, before I could clear it in 7-9 forages or 5 scary gingos. Now I die alot more and find myself filling pack after pack with mats to removing DP where I get about 3k removal a pull. DP averages 104k to 308k so it can take hours. They need to cut the DP system inline with XP and reduce it bu 75%. Ive been flooding the markets in 3 races with mats and crafted items, it will ruin the economy.
Nuff said.
I agree with it all there mate, i think its a shame that its like this but it is. keriannb take it easy mate you aint helping, why do you feel that you have to antagonizeppl just coz they have different views? i work for a living (bloody hard i might add) and i do like the game. its not perfect in its current form but lets hope it gets there or there abouts prety soon before the game dies a grizzley death. i am sad that the first MMORPG that i have wanted to play still aint right. yes you have to change tactics and i feel its some ppl from noobi to 100+ chrs that are suffering. it might be a good idea to encorage ppl to group rather than force them. i like to group but sometimes i like to go solo. you should be able to do both. except the blind spell i think most things that were changed during patch 1 were just a little too much. a gradual slide towards their vision would of been better than a smack into it that we have had.
as for the mods, they are about coz i had a post deleted by them for insulting/racist language (BTW it was insulting but not in the way they thought...being that i am far from a racist...mods take note...learn ryming slang before deleting posts in the future
)
