Without getting into an argument of whether or not it is too hard, is it easier today than it was yesterday? What was the nature of the latest changes to the combat system?

no it's as hard as it was. the newbie islands tho are a bit less impossible, but if you see a gingo in newbie island means you are dead.

yes, it's more challenging/harder. it's not supposed to be a linear climb up to 250.
Even with the old combat system and faster EXP levelling, level 250 would still have taken a long time, then of course, there are 3 other races to play. I had figured 6 months on each race.. Heck of a long term if ya think about it. Took me 4 weeks to get level 96 as a Mage and had levelled off substantially at that point.

I challenge your stance by asking a question, why do you play? If not to achieve a higher level, then what?

You have one style of play, we all have others. I was a solo mage and before I cancelled, I hit almost 500K in DP. That was NOT from lack of game knowledge, but a very imbalanced patch correction to Mob Strength.

I apologize if you were not emotionally affected ny the loss of close in game friends as one by one they disappeared from the server in total frustration over promises of change.

Can't you see the history here? Long time MMORPG gamers are not noobs, they do, however have a lot of insight and their own playstyle. SoR gave them that, then in one patch...took it all away.

SoR is reeling from a fatal blow. You, too, will notice as many of the upper levels that would have been your prime healers will be replaced by Yubo ravaged Melee all looking for some HP support attempting to kill another overly energized baby Kipee.
