Thats if they're the type of player that we would like (determined); but if they are a person like you, they will whine and moan about the "good old days" and not realise that everyone is in the same boat, and get on with it.

so you mean... 'yes it is a pain in the ass but it is for everyone so let's be happy?' wow... if your philosophy works the world is a beautiful place... we should explain that philosophy to all suffering people of the world... it will definitely make america better.. hell yeah many in USA are poor and desperate... but they are many! be happy! or the people getting slaughtered in rwanda... they are all in the same boat! they should go out and throw a party!

stop telling people to be positive, or I will come to the funeral of someone you care alot about.. and laugh my ass off... since.. hell WE ALL DIE! WE ARE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT! NO NEED TO BE NEGATIVE ABOUT IT, LET?S BE HAPPY.

Well obviously you are the uneducated one if you think that none of the words in your insult was racist. You insulted me in two ways, which I not repeat here due to the board rules, but suffice to say, one of the insults (involving a spear) is racist refering to the so-called "primatives" encountered by the colonials, and the other insult (the one you refer to in your retort) is rhyming slang for someone who "enjoys themselves on their own a bit too much"
So maybe as well as giving balance objections, you should also know what you are saying.

No. Thats not what I meant at all, and since you obviously don't care what I, or anyone else for that matter, thinks, I'm not even going to try explaining it to you using words of more than 2 syllables:

"You are the one who drives newbs away. You are the one killing Ryzom."

That's not even the whole argument, but like I said, I doubt you care what I think.

and dont bother coming back with an insult bacause i really dont care. dont try and be clever either as i doesnt suit you. i stick by the insult. you are...

I never said it did. I was referring to the fact that "spearchucker" is a racist term; I credited you with enough intelligence to know that it referred to the primatives who chucked spears and were normally a different race to the colonials who were blowing chunks off them with rifles. For example, and don't go all "wow you can get your insults off a website, you obviously don't get them from real life like me" because I am merely using the site to try to explain my point.

we love forum fights...

my experience with foraging is that its fine - maybe a little easy from what I hear at higher levels but I have no problem with it (my forage is now 30 and most of that was levelled after the patch)

I was annoyed that I couldn't craft WITHOUT foraging as mats are too expensive in the shops to make a profit by selling to the merchant but hopefully this will be fixed.
As it stands I can level craft if I level forage at the same time which is doable if not exactly what I planned when I started the character.

If you have a problem with sources blowing up/releasing gas clouds then sit down before they do - or walk away. Ok you won't get as many mats but you'll be alive. I usually take the hit (using a mix of gentle and aggressive harvesting) and if it seems that my hitpoints are letting me down, I level a little in fight and buy some more.

I would perhaps suggest that people stay longer on newbie island than they did prior to the patch - I see a lot of people staying to 30+ now whereas my first character I barely waited to get to lvl 20 before I was off. Its slower lvling there but its a lot safer.

see this is where it all falls down past your knees...i didnt say spearchucker...i said spear chucking (note that word its slightly different) so where as chucker doesnt ryme with what i was calling you chucking does. your point is "pointless" so try again :-)

Hmm it seems I overestimated you again...

Let me get this right; you basically called me the same thing twice, because you used the rhyming slang for "someone who (etcetc)" *and* the slang for what that person is doing, but you thought it rhymed for something else? (try googling " "spear chucking" "rhyming slang" ") since although it does rhyme with f***ing, it isn't rhyming slang for it.

On a less argumentative and more serious note, why exactly did this repartee start? I seem to remember it was you randomly insulting me and not actually contributing anything to the main point of the thread. I'm a bit unsure as to whether you like ryzom or not and whether you are going to stay.

Come on, just save up and buy the damn preservation and stability actions :-)

I bought a single upgrade for both focus and willpower and left it at that, and levelling foraging is fine. Using these preservation actions during foraging makes it more interesting, and also brings better xp too.

Once you can afford it, get 'bonus source time +5 secs' too, which should help out a bit more. Until you get to a decent foraging level, how much you forage isn't really important - you're looking for xp right?
