Affliction spells are now lvl-specific - you need a highlvl spell for a highlvl mob.
I know they are lvl-specific - and so be it :( The fun factor is gone !

So u are suggesting we keep being able to use blind 1 on lvl 200 + mobs?

Look guys dev have messed up big time with this patch....the only onez going to gain from this is the ones from this is guys who have been on a long time and got wicked skill pts to comp for change'z..I trainned a guy up for 2 weeks solid hour after hour to get him ready for main. skill & all states high and what happens the skills i worked hard for are worth s**t i got so mant death pts it's unreal...just like the game play now .
We play games and thats all it is A game! To enjoy the game play and it seems even more funny when dev think it's ok to kick us in the guts with a cr*p patch and want us to pay for the plesure! lol nice one .

Some will like this patch...those who have good skills pts to get them out of the mess of this patch...and the others...Well..if dev don't pull pull their socks up it's curtins for this game and not only will their socks be down but the old pants as well with a gingo/dog,wolf what ever you call them bite-in it fitting end to the game :)

No not at all :) Although it would be nice to be able to use affliction magic on mobs where I get some xp. Currently I have affliction spells lvl 10 and last night when we were fighting my missrate was somwhere in the region of 98/99 (even on mobs equal or only 10 lvl higher than that of my spell). Is it only me or is a missrate of 98/99% appropriate ? Currently the answer is to fight lower lvl mobs without getting XP - that hardly seems fair :(

he meant blind10, ie the 10th level of blind, not the blind that has a stanza lvl of 10 !

well ive played this game since the first beta, loved it from day one and altering the mobs ect then was fine ..we expected it and it gave time to balance the game pre release...but to change every way a melee and mage work and totally altering mobs so much after retail is not what id expect from anything i pay my hard earned money for (i love the game but almost half my friends list ..and thats long
, all say they wont renew there subs after this patch :( ...i am high lv in most things cos i spend many many hours in the game and last night i spent 11 hours with a full team of same lv 150+ trying different mobs in different lands ...teams are almost pointless but and a big but are nessesary espesially for mages cos the mobs that we can kill give 14-42 xp except plants( how dull is that after 2 hours lol ...we tried spliting into two in a team and apart from this been boring (i love teaming with friends which seems a waste of time for high lvs now ) and i too found blind no longer works even on lower mob lvs even with all my concentration spell added ..they just resist 80% we still found one melee and one healer got from mobs that gave 800xp max but killed us every other fight ...i had to heal for over 1100 a time to keep my melee standing up and have to rest after to regen sitting half our time makes it very dull...plz dont take this a flameing but im sure its gonna kill the game if people cant lv in the amount of hours i do then players with the odd 2 or 3 hours a night or less will soon give up ......whats patch 2 gonna do to mobs ?...if this storyline is anything to go by they will have to get stronger still!! ...thanks tats

u are right there, the impossibly high resist rates are just cruel.
Am i supposed to write something witty here ?

One more thing when I'm at it (now that we all agree that I meant Blind 10 that I got at lvl 145 :) )

There is nothing I like more than when a spell links (bubble above my head). Now however the drain timer is bugged and I'm completely out of 2000 sap in less than 50 seconds.

Missrate + drain time bug = No Fun :(

Except that now i am a level 70 odd offensive affliction mage, and none of my affliction spells (level 5 blind / level 4 fear i think) have yet worked on either l66 kipee or l66 kizoar. Even once or twice might have been ok but in in fact not a sausage.
