What annoys me the most, is that they made such a big change once the free period is over: that free period is basically a trial to see if the game suits your expectations, for a full month you can make your mind... but now you pay for an additional month and they change a big deal, it's much more than just a few bug fixes or new contents; it's a whole new gameplay... I could cancel now, but it's already paid for, it's not what I saw when I played the free trial though.
Note: I don't plan to cancel just yet, I like the new challenge... some things are pretty neat in patch 1; but some other things like mob damage output is overkill for the XP we get... sometimes you don't even seem to have a chance to influence the outcome of a fight: it's too fast, targetting and casting time on heals too slow to deal with super hits from mobs; ... one tank down, ok try to get him back up... wait while you're doing that second tank dies... give up on trying to rez the tanks, try to keep last one alive, then the other tanks can be rezzed at the end of the fight right? If you get an add, it's game over. What was done wrong by the players? Some fights just seem to have too much of a random factor with damage input.

Nightmare I think is the word. My chr is Lv78 off mage and when a lvl66 kizoar resists 4 times on the trot nd then hits me 2 times in quick sucession for total 800 dmg then something aint right. Same with Mean Kipee, 6 out of 8 spells resisted nd i was toast. Yes they were diff spells and they were all maxed for my lvl. So it would appear that my solo career is over.
If I am missing something then constructive suggestions would be welcome. Give the mobs more damage, give em more hp, give em more resists or give me better armour, I don't mind but giving the mobs everything is plain daft.
Encourage team play, yay I'm all for that, but you try forming a team at 3am on the Euroserver, understandably, it's not overly populated so having to solo is kinda inevitable!
I can take on lvl50 meks, but at 52 xp per kill I'm looking to lvl sometime in 2015!! lol

finnally mages are almost what they should be
Yes ill agree they have done a fine job with the mages and about time too, though on the downside harvesting and fighting is now kack!
I also agree with sark92's statment, anyway there is nothing wrong with people venting especially when they are paying for a service, people need time to adjust and different people adjust in different ways, we should respect that.
Fun for the mages hardship for the fighters and harvesters.

but i still love the patch
i cant talk for the harvesting tho.. but i find ryzom more challanging now..

this was my point...this happened to me last night and i couldnt heal enough...i had 129 points of heal and the first tank went down...then another mob joined and that was it...six ppl all with a massive DP...oh thats fun. for the information to all who have said "adapt" I HAVE ADAPTED!!!! i sit and talk tactics all the time with my friends but thats no good if it kills you all the time (BTW the mob we were going after with six was easily solo'd before patch but six struggled now...go figure)
