Problem is, Cerest is so good at responding to our questions here on this board. She has answered basically everything important that people post here that are reasonable questions. What else do we ask of her that she doesnt give us freely here on the ryzom boards?

You could get a lot better listing of questions if you just go through and look at the threads she has answered and compile those :) there are way more than 10-15 questions that she has answered accurately and quickly here on these boards. Probably the EXACT same questions people would ask you to ask her, she has already answered here on these boards at one time or another.

And yeah, where did you get those great shoes?

I think everyone of you is missing the point. The point of this kind of interview isn't to answer questions related about the game it's to get more in depth detail.

What's your favorite part of your job, your least favorite?

What do you do during the day? Etc.

That's all I'm asking for.

These are the questions I posted:

1) Where did she get those great shoes? Can't be payless, they have horrible shoes! *she wanted someone to ask*!

2) Is your job specifically to deal with the boards, or are is there an in game function to? Actually what is your job and what does it mean?

3) I used to play Earth and Beyond. It was a game that for most of it's life also featured a story. One of the story related activites that got the most attention was when the devs had fragments scattered all over the game world. The goal was to find the fragments, break the code they were in, and figure out what they said. In the end they were a journal that offered player the chance to read a major story element. The reason this was such a great activity is that in order to successfully solve it, all the players had to work together. As the fragments were all over the place, it also gave every player a chance to take part. Are we going to see these types of activities in Ryzom? Puzzles that can only be solved if the majority of the server works on it?

4) How important is exploration to the devs in this game? Any peaks on what the devs intend to do in that area (beyond the encylopedia)?

5) Ryzom seems to have a good non-combat set of activities. How important is it for the devs to have the ability for a player to feel a part of thing without ever killing anything?

6) Concerning Fame. How much will this matter in game play? Will there ever be a point where NPC's attack you if you have bad enough fame? Will there ever be a point where you might be revived by a NPC if you have a good enough fame? What about being able to access areas based upon fame?

7) What does Nevrax consider successful in terms of Ryzom?

8) Can players set off raids via their actions or do they have to be set off by devs or gm's?

9) Can you give us an idea of what sort of things are in the works beyond patch 2?

10) One of the things that seem to be a unique and central feature to the Ryzom experience is the idea that each server will make different choices and cause the story to go different routes. Can you tell us a little more about that? Are there certain things that are set to happen over the 8 years no matter what, in order to keep to the story?

11) This kind of goes with the last question. Having a setup where the choices of players effect what happens on a server has a side that could easily be exploited. In MMO's there usually are a few guilds that try to become the controlling guilds of game servers. These guilds due to their membership size end up having the power to start forcing all players to follow thier wishes even if they aren't a member. This then leads to issues where smaller guilds can't enjoy the game becuase the large guilds end up controlling content. This leads to small guild membership issues because players want to join guilds that have access to content. It's really kind of a snowball effect. So in Ryzom where the actions of the players on a server have such an effect on things, it would be very easy for a few choice guilds to dictate what happens for that server. What sorts of things do the people behind the game have in place or plan to implement that will prevent this sort of thing from happening? What sort of things are planned to make sure the small guilds have the same access to content that the big guilds have?

Well then I have these questions:

4) Do you have any say in what the devs do to the game?
