I wouldn't hold my breath. They don't make official pronouncements in these forums.

Also, distribution has not only been a problem in the North American market. The game is still largely unavailable in England as well.

Yes that's true. Many people on the closed forums ask basic questions about the game : they didn't play the open beta and found by chance a box of Ryzom in a store. They had never heard about Ryzom before. I don't know for the USA but in Europe it's quite common to go to a store after work and choose a game just with the short description on the box.
