Ryzom on full graphical blast

One of the things that sold me on the game were the great trailers. These are some nice SS to be sure, but seeing the game in motion is still 10x better.

I tried to take some video of the game. But the files are way to big. They run between 180-300 megs each.

And sorry no screens of spell effects. I don't have magic at the moment.

may i ask how much fps did you get, my cpu system is just the same, and to have that kinda detail would proberly send it to heaven and back.. whats the secret to awesome graphics, please tell !

How much ram and what type of video card do you have?

sorry to break the news to you but theres really nothing special looking about ryzoms graphics.

I have an idea.... Instead of making a statement you can't back up, why don't you explain to me why there is nothing special looking about Ryzoms graphics? I'll explain to why there is:

1) The textures used on the animals is highly detailed.
2) The world is extremely colorful and full of life.
3) The shadowing and water effects are simply amazing.
4) The fact that the appearance of the game world elements change as the seasons change is amazing. (And it's more than a color change. The amount of vegitation actually changes).

Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb Ram
Adelphia Powerlink Cable Internet

I have most of my settings most of the way down, and don't creep much above 25 FPS...

I wish I could figure why...
