Yeah I just got on and didn't even bother glancing at the stickies as usual. I'll have to check it out.

WOW!!!
It's going to be refreshing in a way to be able to "fix" the errors you made in character creation without having to start from the very beginning again. I know for a fact I'll be dropping a couple of useless (to me) skills with my main char and putting those skill points back into her melee skill. Then there's my mage with at least ten levels in everything. This is going to be "sehr gut" as our German friends would say.

As a player who started out with triple crafter pack, who bought into magic and harvesting with fight, this will really help out my tree, without hurting my harvest and magic too much. On the other hand, is this going to hurt my crafting? I'm not going to be able to buy back the stuff I got at the beginning as easily.

I might be wrong here, but I seem to recall in beta when they did this you retain your start packs, so you don't lose anything. I can't remember for sure, maybe someone can confirm one way or the other?

Did you guys read the post, its skill revamp AND skill cost changes.. so we dont know if we will be able to remake our chars the way they were without maybe some more skilling if some skils raise in cost.. or perhaps we can get more skills if some skills lower in cost.
I made some misclicks when training my character, but some of them i decided I liked (melee aura i clicked on instead of hp upgrade).. but at least with the skill respec I can make sure all my focus comes out of my harvest line (if they dont raise the skills costs too much there or add new stuff i want) instead of splitting it between crafting and harvesting as I had to do while leveling up to make sure my focus was high.
Respecs this early in a game is surprising... waited a year or so to get them on DAOC. Im glad we are getting one, although im not sure what i would change on my character, unless of course some skills/costs change dramatically.

The ones I've seen are lower. And different.
