Perhaps it would be better to play with the changed skills for a few days, then get the respec credits so that we can make an informed decision on how to modify our characters?
Maybe those brave Advanced Test Server people could give us some insight?
so it'll kind of be like going through the game for the first time? i dunno about you but that was fun for me...

What this means is instead of a level 52 healer with all the skills you purchased, you will log in after patch 1 and be a level 52 healer, with NO skills or upgrades purchased, and 520 skill points available to you to spend.
EDIT: All your skills will be like this, I just used healing as an example.
