Does anyone else find this special offer a bit back to front?

Your friend plays for 14 days.

If they hate the game, fair enough, they've had 14 days free.

If they like it and continue, then that 14 days is deducted from their first month - in which case the trial suddenly stops being free. Seems like a slap in the face from Nevrax as soon as they become a customer.

Then to add insult to injury, we get a free month and spend all that time gloating :)

Don't get me wrong, I love this game and have recommended it to friends (even before the special offer). But not giving the 14 days to people who sign up is pretty cheap IMHO.

I guess that's that's the commercial reality as far as Nevrax are concerned.

I think they've done well to get this offer in before the big fish jump in with their "3rd generation" MMORPGs.

not really...

we paid for the box, got the first month "free" then the monthly subscription costs starts

same for the trial users, 1 month free total and buy the box, only they get to play 14 days without spending ANY money first
