it so hppens that i too would love to see the "hidden stats" and crafters name

and a sort option is most definatly needed

and the "Extra storage exploit" was a big issue in SWG so yes, people will do it

Look you can't see the "hidden" stats now. So explain to me why this would be any different. Because someone isn't telling you them? Again I have to ask how do you know what they are telling you is accurate anyway?

He and 100 others. Also note that everything will be listed, including armor made just for training out of basic mats.

Because you can test it - when use use an armor with a good dodge mod you will notice this. And the crafter has a name to loose.

On the other hand, on the vendors you do not see those, neither do you see the crafters name.

And the vendors are in no way meant as "little extra". They are meant as primary selling option for crafters - but as they are now this isn't the case at all.

Actually .. I do have to use it to sell items and buy basic mats (when needed). Or at least it is my understanding that all NPC vendors will use this system

Fanboy hole? Why because I have seen the system in use (which by the way he has not) and I don't see the mass panic happening that he does? Or is it becuase I fail to see how it's any different that you can't see stats after this system is in place, that you can't see now? Before you or anyone opens their trap why not actually try using the system, otherwise all your complaints amount to is "the sky is falling".

I have seen the item in use, and it is *exactly* as he discribes it.

You're a programmer, aren't you? Exactly what problem do you have exactly with making the game interface richer and more usable, while enabling players to build their reputations as accomplished crafters?

No you don't. You can buy and sell the exact same way you do now. They aren't removing the ability to trade between players. The only thing the new system does is add an additional tab that lists what players have for sale. They are not mixed in with what the vendors are selling.

So lets say you wanted to buy some q99 choice moon resin. You could either go to a player and deal directly with them. Or you could go to a vendor and click the player sale tab, look for q99 choice moon resin and buy it there.

I don't. I have a problem with someone saying the system can't go live becuase it's missing some additional features. Furthermore I have a problem with someone talking about problems with the system if they have not used it.

No, you cannot. When you sell an item you *will* put it into the player sales. You have no option not to.

Also, if you have to click yourself through 100 of training-weapons (after the 5 mins when the seller list has finally been loaded) to fine a decent one - how many people do you think will use it? *zero*

ATM it's only useable for mat sales (and even there you could have maior problems to to massive loading times).

If you would just calm down and actually read what I typed ..As I said, the stat thing is not directly related to the system. I would not have a problem with it as much if the rest of the vendor system was better. It is NOT a show stopper.

Use the system? Well I would but as I pointed out.. I cannot. Does that make my post invalid? If anything I posted about the system is not in fact true .. let me know (aside from my opinions). So far you have not told me any of the information my post was based on is wrong. So what would it matter if I have not actually logged in and used it?

I get paid to see problems with software BEFORE the problem is actually produced and then fix the problem after people ignore me :P By making this post I am attempting to make this game better by preventing a mistake. If the devs dont like my ideas that is fine, but I would like to make sure someone brings up the issues before they push it live.
