Well there are more effects in trykerland... the water, the swaying palm trees. I think some ATI drivers aren't fully compatable with those effects or the game was not coded efficiently with those drivers. Choppiness is always either a network issue or a graphics card issue. This is because a graphic intensive game will take up CPU time that will put latency in the connection while its handling the drawing.

Tryker Land is a nightmare.

The only way I can travel through without serious issues is to crank own my graphics settings prior to entering.

Please try to fix this!

What kinda system are you running? CPU & vid card. I'm thinking that my Radeon 9200xt is to blame, but not sure yet. Recommendations?

I run on a Radeon 9600 Saphire edition, and a pentium 4 processor. I have to turn all of the graphics to lowest to get a smooth frame rate though :(

Yea, then it could either be my Radeon 9200XT (cheap-o model) or my Athlon XP 1.4 processor... too bad I'm broke.

I would suggest if you are thinking of getting a new video card you move over to the Nvidia side of the world, much better driver support to game makers and much better customer support.

I would not stay with a manufacturer who has been know to promise something one month then turn around the next and flat out lie about the fact they said they were going to do a certain thing. That is ATI for you.

And whether you would like to admit it or not the good Nvidia cards out now are better than the ATIs.
