Yes, as others have said .... mats are easy to get quickly .... just boring
No less boring for 150 and 200 ... when you have mastered 3, 4 or 5 regions and grinding away thru the 140's on your 20th craft .... the last thing I wanna do is go dig alone for several hours .... if I could buy my way outta that, would do so in a heartbeat. Also getting Q150 + Q200 into the mix doesn't make sense when we're talking about basic mats and trying to act as a dapper sink (for the more/most wealthy)
Not suggesting they be in same spot ..... barman would report that he was seen 800M NE of so and so outpost .... of course that doesn't mean that he will still be there by time player manages to get there. The problem with decreasing fame and smaller bundles is that it is yet another means for larger guilds / groups to "farm" the system like supreme nodes, bosses, etc. Send 8 peeps out looking and clean the guy out leaving the solo player or smaller group left holding an empty bag again. That's the main bonus of the "mission" based approach as it give all equal opportunity.I like this idea a lot, but it wouldn't be ideal to have the seller in the same couple of spots every season. So if the quest/barman was just to say what continent he was in, then sure give it a timer. The idea with lower mats & negative fame would limit the size of groups as people would want to get the best price and not lose too much fame.
