KL's older members are finally caving in and resubbing, due to a lot of RL email spamming from their female HO.... She got tired of talking to herself.
Sometimes it just takes one email to remind a person that they are missed.

Re: Cancel Subscription?
IIRC the devs sent emails to everybody on their subs list, to let them know the game was back in business

Re: Cancel Subscription?
The emails went to the email that is set up in the Account information, where you get the API Keys.
They are not sent out to the emails set up for the forums (in UserCP).
I had to track through about 3 different email systems before I found the email saying that the game was back.

bah, lala. you would argue just because it is a member of TI, and to hear your own gums flap.
Re: Cancel Subscription?
I got a few emails across two accounts, but I dont get the point, the emails that the devs have, are the only emails they can use, they have no other mode of contact with older players.
TBH, if any older players had any yearning to come back, they would periodically visit these forums, to see what was going on and how the game was progressing.
People have moved on, to games that have more content, with continuously more content being added. Some have just changed lifestyles and games are not that important to them anymore.
The advent of so many free MMO's, I'm sure has caused a severe attrition of the player population as well.
In game conflicts have caused whole guilds to leave with sour tastes in their mouths, vowing never to return.
I was at an OP yesterday and I would say that maybe about half the players were alts, being dual boxed.
