It's a definite improvement, and a step in the right direction. Thank you.

Suggestions for additional improvements:

Better English grammar.
Better spacing of visual elements.
Less visual overload (not so many contrasting elements competing for attention)

Also, what is "role-playing and RPG"?

This phrase is repeated several times, and it confuses me. Roleplaying, yes. And yes, it is an RPG. But "role-playing and RPG events"? "Role-playing and RPG characters"? I'm not clear on that one.

I also think that calling it "the best French Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game" is perhaps not the best marketing for a global game. That probably plays well to a French audience, but the rest of the world cares more about it being the best MMORPG anywhere, not just in or from France. It also implies that there are better games from other places, at least as it reads in English.

I'd be curious to find out if the German text also reads like a mediocre translation from French rather than something written explicitly for that audience. Acridiel, or other native speakers of Deutsch? What are your thoughts?

the only way to please everyone is make different skins for the website so players can choose their own skin, tho i know its able to do for forums, not sure if u can do it for websites.

but that way, nobody can complain :)

Apart from the first sentence Sasi, the wording ok ;)
The first one seems a bit clumsy to me too.
The "RPG, Role-Play" Problem is not existent over here.

Nice work, maybe add some player mass PvP and PvE Videos as well :)
if i was a new player looking for a game to play, a video as soon as i hit a link for the site would get me really intrested instead of just the boring site as it is atm.

You most certainly can do it for websites. Alternate CSS and a small script to switch which are used. A little cookie to remember your preference. No biggie.

Actually, if the site really annoys you, you can always use greasemonkey to alter it as you please.

I'm happy to say that I find it good enough as it is that I won't bother.

Every video that swaps past has a " 1 year ago " piece of text in it. Either remove this or add some new stuff, it looks like nobody ever updates the site.

Thats because they were added to Vimeo about 1 year ago.
And the Vimeo player shows just that.
But you´re right, some new official Videos would be great :)

Perhaps change the brown background to the original starry night one?
Yea need a bit of spit and polish. too much light brown! Scrap the vimeo box and add some more unique menu/background graphics instead. Try not to make every div container with same/similar background/text-color. I like the new Header banner space... otherwise its pretty OK. Personally I like the roleplay site style a bit better.

Need more story info on main site, instead of pushing it all over to roleplay site... Also too much emphasis on PvP in the Features section imo. but thats just me.

...and why FRENCH? yea lots of devs may be french, may live in France, may like french food, but ryzom has always been a fully EUROPEAN mmorpg, and even a bit of AMERICAN thrown in for measure. Kinda limiting imo.. but thats peanuts...

I hope you'll pay attention to the other suggestions in this thread too, particularly about the way things are worded.

It seems like you guys are so short-staffed that you're unable to get the appropriate feedback in-house when it comes making sure that all web & game updates get a professional polish before being publicly released, and that's somewhat understandable considering the financial state this game has been in... I just sincerely hope that you'll do what you can to improve that and either start running these updates by the CSR folks well in advance (and making changes based on their feedback), or get a test group together - you've got plenty of intelligent players on these forums that are eager to help (and making changes based on their feedback) - or both (plenty of feedback avenues available - UTILIZE THEM PLEASE)!
