And yeah, the sneaking is a challenge, it's not like it suddenly becomes easy once you know how to do it. At least, not for me.

Anyway, it's an interesting experiment.

Just one thing I would like to add.

This thread is not aimed at old/frequent/experienced players. Most of these types of players will say there is no challenge or that it is not hard to do. I agree but not always easy.

This thread is aimed a the new players. This is to show them there is nothing to be afraid of on mainland. You can do just about anything. To a new player still playing on Silan, the idea of playing with harvesting alone in a hostile environment may seam like difficult task (or to some, impossible).

If a new player can learn to survive with non combat, non magical skills, then he can pretty much do and go anywhere. For a new player to go throught this sort of challenge, will increase his/her confidence in surviving on mainland.

It will also show new players that they can survive on mainland on their own. Sure there are other players around but sooner or later, there will be times when there will be no help around. So learning to survive on your own is must in this game.

craft level 70 (jewels)
harvest level 133



You can be specialized in one profession only. But you will have to make a decision : will I always buy the stuffs I need or will I make them myself. The reason is because you should not expect to always find what you need to buy at every times and everywhere. That is why I started crafting. I could not always find the stuffs I wanted to buy.

That's rather amazing, really. I don't know how you managed to avoid even stepping on a suckling yubo by accident and dinging level 2 in fight.

But I have died a couple of times :
- 90 % by a node exploding while I was either chating or looking elsewhere
- 10% by MOBs that did not like my face and decided to remodel it in an abstract art
