The new mage skills look to cost half as much to "spec" a new spell. Where they were costing 50-55 pts for new spells, they now cost 20-25pts.

I agree, I don't think there is anything in the game that you can take that will totally destroy your character. If you take a spell you don't like, get a few more skill pts and get a skill you do like. You also have the old skills, which most of the tiem , are uswful for something. Yes, you can create a rough patch, but unless you want a completly one dimmential character, any choice isn't that big a deal.

i'm somewhat curious as to why you edited all of your posts. it seems kind of dramatic and so caught my attention.
