Thank you.

Silver plates never were to my liking and as I thought most of Ryzoms players.

Sorry to reply so late to this, but as it's been necroed anyway...

In my opinion, this is exactly the sort of information that our (in character) characters would share with each other and keep track of. If our planet Earth were overrun by kitin, and humans had to rebuild, oh, say... Germany... by hand, I'm sure the survivors and their descendants would pass on the location of important natural resources and details like what time of day/season/year to look for them.

Granted, this shortcuts the social aspect of having to ask someone...

so, maybe consider it the knowledgeable old NPC you know who always seems to have the answer about harvesting stuff.

P.S. good stuff, Final :)

Right Sasi, as if "explaining it away" will solve the problem. *sigh*
Its laughable in my opinion that you would say "our characters would share" and at the same time welcome a thing that negates this need.
Or actually reduces any social aspect of sharing to "Go look at this link."
Really sad. :(

Anyway, I can´t stop anyone from using it.
People seem to want to play a "solo game along hundreds of others" anyway these days, cooperation is only useful in gaining XP anymore.
And even then its gotta be, as fast as possible and with best calculated XP rates. Or else it isn´t "fun". :(

Admittedly I´m getting more and more disillusioned by recent "developments" around here. Good bye Atys, welcome Azeroth light.

:(

But well, do whatever you want. Its your choice.

I understand your point of view, but don't agree it necessarily takes anything away from players.
The players that enjoy finding this sort of info. out for themselves will not use the tracker tool. For those that do use it..it just tells them when and where to get the materials. I think it still takes some co-operation to actually attain the rarer nodes. Tracker will tell you that zun is available in the depths, but it won't help you get to mountain bane and kill Kinkoo before being able to dig it..
