Just a note from a handful of older players. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING !!!!

This is due to:
1) Complete disregard and lack of information / communication with the vets of this game from the devs. Vets have been with the game the longest and gave very good input that NEVER even got responded to.
Looks at livefire's post count...clearly not a lot of input from you directly, at least not here on the forums where other players can support you.
livefire wrote: 2) The Fact that the devs allowed a MASSIVE stronghold to be created by CAREBEARS and underhanded deals between the guilds within the game.
So you want the devs to dictate how the players "behave" in game? I think you want a linear, follow the plotline game and not Ryzom in the first place.

I would go on but Gorran needs to be digging right now.

Might be time to shake things up again..ie an event or "something".

Concerned Atys citizen,

Christmas holidays are over, I guess the er.. "dev team" has gone back to their day job(s) ;)

On the good side, we got some long needed fixes and the servers seem reliable enough. Ryzom is still free ofc.

Don't think Communication is on SW's list of priorities though :(

I'm guessing you are Praha? :)

If so, you personally will be missed, the others .....? meh :D

I do agree with alot of your points, but regardless of the dilution of Ryzoms original vision, It doesnt bother me as much as it did initially, right now I am just happy to be able to live on Atys, if I cant have access to Fyros, I am a very sad bunny.

Currently, I am a happy bunny, digging little burrows of happiness in Dyron :)

*chuckle*
While I agree with the other points, this one´s too "cute".
Wanna hug? ;)

No, seriously, it´s an extremely Servers-Centric view.
As far as I know "Carebears" are a pretty endangered species on Aniro.

On Leanon, well... it´s hard to say. I guess we´re in a rather lucky postion to have reached a kind of equilibrium in regards to so called "carebears" like me and those who do it otherwise.
I don´t even know a correct term for "them". *LOL*
A mutual understanding was reached a time ago in which most of us do at least tolerate the play stile of the others. Or even ignore it, if this suits better.
I still wonder why that´s so hard to achieve for some?

But I have one question, if you allow me.
What "original Ryzom" do you refer to?

The true first Vision of a Game with huge world changing events, different histories on each server and player driven politics and such?

Or the *******, rumored Vision that later cropped up, after the infamous patch introducing factioned PvP for episode 01, had driven away many people, which stated that it was to be a purely PvP Game with no place for "none-combatants"?

If you´re talking of the first, true Ryzom Vision I´ll gladly agree with you.
And I really hope the New Bosses do think about making it come true some day.

The second was just a dark prediction, that only almost came true due to all the other bad stuff that happened.

That´s it for now, and I´m sad that you´ve lost your hope.
But it´s no wonder, sadly... *sigh* :(

Good luck, wherever you all will go, I hope you´ll find what you´re looking for.
(Or is that too "carebear" like? :p )
No, I mean it!

Lack of response is indeed a gamekiller. Wise up guys and start talking to us.

1 good post is worth 1000 dumb posts ...and as far as players behave in game Quote.....yes the devs can dictate this by doing events ..eg ..the temple event ..by setting one faction against the other ..like it should be , but ofcourse with no input by the devs the game has just died off, not too mention the unfixable raid engine..
