I for one will be here as long as the server is up. The question you have asked has been asked several times and unfortunately will continue like a broken record.

If you enjoy the game, stay until they ask for money. Then if you still don't feel secure then leave. The will introduce themselves when the time comes. When is that time? Sometime between when they are satisfied that the servers are stable, the code is reasonably clean, and they feel the conditions ripe to actually be able to make a profitable game out of it. Profit is the key to sustainability because it means new features and content. Without profit their will just be a game that never changes and a shrinking membership.

The plan will most likely become clear once they make the decision to start collecting revenue from Ryzom. Until then, all we can do is celebrate and enjoy. Research other games so that you can jump ship when you are no longer happy.

I couldn't care less who owns the game, or their plans for it as long as they keep it open.

In my opinion, the best thing the new owner can do now, is to wait the release of WAR first, then make their own decisions and announcements.

In the meanwhile, if the new devs can release a patch with some of the needed old fixes, would be great.
I would patch at least once and see before to make any announcement.
