Looking over your computer specs, you could be
having the "Can't create a window display(1028 x 768)" error.
You aren't getting the error message so it is hard to tell.

Try following the procedure in this post.

Your computer specs are the bare minimum for playing the game.
The graphics need to be set to the lowest possible to get it to work.

Sorry for that, but SoR has turned into a real resource hog over time.

I have an:
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.04 GHz
1Gb of RAM
nVidia 7600 GS 512 Mb
and I still can't run with the graphics at max.

i just changed the gl setting.. now i can log in and patch. somehow i did not see that line before i posted this thread as you can see in first post i refereanced the link you just gave me.

i had 200 bucks to spend do i got this laptop..

ive recently lost 2 pc's due to spilling half a gallon of iced green sun tea on them.

my specs of the good tower was.
1.9 duel core
4gig ram
8800 gtx 512ram x2
xp..
as you can see its a very bad idea to spill tea on a pc, so i advise everyone not to do so.
