I can propose creating individual pictograms for zorai crafters :)

Ah, I thought of it as a zero point, a beginning. Kind of like the little bulb at the lowest end of a thermometer, yeah. But there's not really a circle end necessary at all, as long as 2 out of 5 outer segments are colored it gets the message across that it's fine. :)

I've been doodling some more variations in bored moments. Like square (Zoraï pictogram style), triangular (bit complicated but Fyros love their triangles) and swirly.

Yeah, true, I was mostly backing Anatti on needing a basic/fine/choice/exc/sup, and the LQ/MQ/HQ was just an afterthought. :p

Swirly is a kind of matis-tryker mixture ;) while the other too racial designs are plain perfect :)

:)

I thought of the Swirly as a Tryker mark, I just put a Matis 'signature' in there to show it can be mixed up. ;)

While the Zoraï have an obvious thing for squares, the Fyros for triangles, and the Tryker for circles, the Matis don't really seem to have a favorite shape. Maybe for them a more organic version of the pentagon? Or if you want to get really complicated, the flower.

(With a Tryker signature in it, yes. :p )

The Matis *would* make it overly complicated...

I like the concept of different designs for the different races... so what might be a example of the different signatures? Would Zorai use a squarish signature for example?

Good point, they would! So would the Fyros. :p

As for the signatures, I assume they'd be based on what we can find ingame. The Zoraï have their pictograms all over the place, and the Matis have their writing on the wall, so plenty example for those. For the Fyros I only found a few symbols hidden away in a corner, just barely enough to get an idea of their style. And the closest thing to symbols the Tryker seem to have are their swirlies, but they might just be decorative. Then there's three Kami runes too; again just barely enough to get an idea of their style.

If you're interested in examples of how stylistically depict Homin writing in the "Roman" alphabet (ie this one) then you can probably find some examples in the various subsections of the Goodies page on the mainsite. The webkits have fonts for each race, as well as some examples of ingame writing I think. :)
