id be happy with just that. whats the point of being so secretive? do they think we are going to run away when we find out who they are?
sony=spiderweb? haha
sorry didnt mean to scare you guys
I'm going to do something vanishingly rare for me, and refer to *gasp* another game...
Please, oh masters of Atys, be you who ye may, go look
here and take heed of good communication skills playing out between a helpful, enthusiastic player base and a small game company trying to work on a yet-unreleased title.

Huh?
So, its a Game Convention...
What´s that supposed to say?
Are you suggesting that "Nevrax" or in fact "Spiderweb" will be there to present "something"?
The link doesn´t work so we have no way to confirm or deny anything...

i dont know, but i still think that if "someone" wants to launch a game, this "someone" will need a decent advertisemnt campain, and what's the best place to make a videogame ad than a Game Convention...

Good going Sasi
But, I feel the same way, it does look promising. Luckily for Ryzom it (as well as all the others that look promising) won't be out for a year or so more.

Hi all
Yep its never a good sign when the new owner's/Dev team ..or whoever wants to make the first move to talk to us poor sods ,who after all just want to know whats going on and the future of the game!.
Yes its great to have the forums back up and we all hope they take interest in whats we say...Communication would be a good next step..but hey what do i know lol....
Anyway if you want to Generate interest in a game again and people talking about Ryzom and getting a Buzz going again it would help to know what we are all getting excited about.
I know its only been a few weeks since the forum Lights where switch'd back on and some are just happy with that!,but lets get some communication going after all thier are way to many games out and coming out to mess about with prospective players to this game...
Hope to seen you online(Ryzom) on day

Well, sorry but, Nevrax did go to some Cons yes, but well...
The last few they canceled and GF... well they never even thought about going to such a fair. *shrug*
It would really be cool, but (again sadly) these things are for new developments and not for resurrected ones...
*sigh*
I don´t think whoever´s behind all this will go to such length.
Simply because it costs too much.

If they have recovered all accaunt data then they should relaunch it a bit earlier - so the world is not empty when new players come
Anyway starting to feel myself disappointed, "soon" have passed already and where is it? "bussines" (hope not smth else) as always, whre's "ethic"?

It seems to me there are a couple of possibilities:
1) the people who bought Ryzom just wanted the code, the game is not coming back
2) they bought it, but can't figure out how it works
3) they bought it, and realize it will take a lot of programming to get it back online, if ever
4) Ryzom is almost ready to start in it's old form
5) they are changing Ryzom and will re-launch with new features
6) they are looking at a business plan, and then will re-launch
My guess is 2 or 3, they have a huge pile of code, and don't really know how it works. They can't predict when it will come back online, since they don't even know if they can get it running. This would explain why they have said nothing so far.
