Try to have fun here, we'll read your opinions, but now we have to work a little

exactly
This is what I am worried about. If the servers are restarted, and we can log in again, but communication remains as bad as it was in the nevrax era then the game won't last another 3 years. It probably won't last another 1 year.
But I agree with Faa, all I really want at this point is something to say who they are and so on.
Developers, I know how busy you are (I work in the software industry too, and I know how manic it can be when you are trying to hit deadlines). But this *doesn't* mean that waiting until you have finished your other work and then spending some time talking to the community is acceptable. Right as of this minute, all you have is the community. If the game was new to market now, it would fail. It's too old, still not particularly polished, and there is absolutely no marketing whatsoever at this point to generate new interest. When you bought the game, the important part of the purchase was the community. The code is close to worthless without the community. Get your priorities right, please.

"Are we nearly there yet?!"
"Are we nearly there yet?!"
"Are we nearly there yet?!"
"Are we nearly there yet?!"
All in good time my fellow homins, I'm itching to know what is going on too. I'm sure they will give us an update when they have something to update us with... at least I hope...

small child in car:
"am I in a car?"
"are we going anywhere?"
"when are we going to get there, if in fact we are going somewhere?"
"is there anybody else in here with me?"

As far as I can tell, we don't know if Ryzom is coming back. We don't know if anyone is working on it. We don't know anything about the company/people who bought Ryzom. We actually know nothing at all.
It is encouraging to see the forums back up, and some sort of ryzom.com webpage, so I still have hope
