I already used to pay $22 (PayByCash -> PayPal), but I have to admit that I have lost interest in Ryzom "the game" but I still adore the story and the background.

If the revival comes with Ryzom Ring then yes, if no then I wouldn't subscribe at all... unless there are some content updates.

Paying more should be optional, so those who want to be more supportive can do so, while more casual or less financially able players can pay the regular $15.

To make it viable you would have to keep it the same as other MMOs. The vets who know and love the game would maybe pay a bit more but we need new players. With the right advertising and support the game can thrive and still cost the same as the other MMOs.

The problem with "would you pay xxxx?" is that it doesn't specify the content we would be paying for. US$20/month would be a reasonable price for me, but $15 would be better. If we were getting regular improvements and expansions of the "borders", promotion so that there were many more people coming in so that we could welcome them into the guilds, then the cost per homin could come down.

But for access to the canopy, I would also pay a one-time fee of US$40 or so. I *really* want to climb to the places I can see so clearly. It would be even better if the route had to be scouted carefully and if it was initially hidden. The Kami would be able to give hints, but the Kara would have to send probes. What creatures of light might live in the canopy?

But I would *definitely* re-subscribe at a "normal" mmorpg rate. I miss Atys.

That's an easy answer: I already closed all my other subs to play Ryzom. I wait at least another couple of weeks before starting thinking on resubbing others if something goes wrong with Ryzom.

£19 per what? Per month? Whichever sub option it was I used to use, I paid £8 a month. Sure, I'd pay more than £8 a month, but I'm a student - £20 a month is just under a third of my disposable income.

I'd pay more but not more than $25/month. I believe that such a price would keep people away however, and the pricing must remain competitive - somewhere around $15/month. I would be willing to pay a one time activation charge of up to $50.
