After all, we paid for that product. And in most cases it's too late to take back by that point. Very few retailers like returned software. And i never say that stated on the box so even those that would take it back rarely accept open box items. I did see it said that policy was changed. But as with other folks I would like to see something officially stated.
If i read Item #11 of the EULA correctly..maybe this is how they can do it...

"........Nevrax is also the sole owner of the User's account and of the elements created or used by the User through that account, including but not limited to the characters, their appearance, characteristics, stories, created or manufactured objects, guilds, groups and titles. The User also grants Nevrax the right to use the information sent to the server via the account (with the exception of the personal data and messages addressed to other Users) as it thinks fit, including commercial exploitation."

Nevrax owns the acct.. we dont

Your Key code poofs the moment you use it. Its your account name that matters. I still have accounts with games some nearly 10 yrs old that have been inactive more or less for 5yrs in some cases. The chars might get wiped, in doac there were, but that was outside of the developers control, due to a problem they had, everquest does delete chars after 6months in most cases as do most others.

If you're worried that you might loose the account after a set time, no i dont think so. But you might loose the chars. Even if its said now that you wont, whats to say what will happen in 2 yrs time...

Sorry if it´s already postet, just not in a mood to read everything :)

The 90-days-delete-problem isn´t any more! Yes, it´s still written somewhere (EULA?!) but it´s definitly NOT there anymore.
