Ryzom

I'v been playing world of warcraft for the last 2 weeks now, while i was waiting to hear something from GF.

Anyone playing and is in the Hord can send me a wisper... my name is Trog and i play on Malfuruion server.

I would like to say to everyone that the last 3+ years in Ryzom was the best for me and you guys maid it that way for me... THANKS SO MUCH..

And thank you GF for that 1 more year!

Yea both my brothers play wow also on the Horde side!
Was leaning towards that ,as my guild wants to go somewhere together-If my ticket isnt a winner that is! and lol, this is twice now There is less chance of someone buying ryzom again than me winning on this ticket

Can only repeat what others have said (still at work), but i think most who can, are trying... but something about LAG and NO RESPONSE

Oh..and as you said... "Loooking" hehe, I wanna log in tonight and take screenies galore!!

I was roaming around the net too, but have tried almost everything.

I was a 2years AO players, but probably i lost every char there as Funcum deletes chars from non active accounts. The game is huge but the game mechanic is too old for me.

I played lotro in august (bought the box, so did 30 days), but really i don't like this clone, even if i know some ex-ryzom are already playing there.

I'm still playing CoH/CoV, but it's just a casual game, nothing comparable to Ryzom, so I wont suggest you to try it.

I would try Vanguard as it seems more like Ryzom (apart of the ecosystem, no MMO around match Ryzom), but the game seems full of cheaters and botters. Also, the mobs AI is crappy as in any MMO. Building houses sounds cool tho.
It worth a try, also if I agree about SOE, not good.

Sorry, Valda, last chaos is a crappy point and click asian game. IMHO.

I tried to build some feeling for WoW, but i simply can't play another clone, also if it is now considered the 'original', and it's not.

Unfortunately, in every MMO around you can find very cool graphic, but mostly it is without 'heart', just a graphical excercise. We will not find the 'feeling' that Atys always had, because the graphic designers, were primarily 'artists' and they have put 'heart' in it.

Next in develop games? We will see.... WAR seems just another clone, AoC could have some innovation, but it seems too 'dark' for my taste.

I just need some rest from MMO games, unless Ryzom stay alive.

To briefly explain what the game is about. Rising Force Online is an Epic mix of traditional fantasy mixed with unique futuristic sci-fiaction to bring an entirely new and original take on the existing mmorpg genre. Set in deep space on the Planet Novus, take your pick from three all-powerful warring factions leading your character into the final battle for control over the entire Novus Sector. Choose from either the Bellato Union, taking control of individual robot battle units, the Holy Alliance Cora, a mystical and fantasy orientated faction utilising power of magic, and finally the mighty accretian empire, a futuristic cyborg faction intent on spreading destruction across the entire sector with their advanced weaponry systems.

The Accretian Empire; a totalitarian regime that demands all for the Empire. There is no feeling when it comes to the destruction of other factions and for good reason, for the Accretia are a race of mechanised units with a materialistic thinking. The Accretia are proud to be the strongest and formidable faction in the galaxy, and all things living. Their need to expand to the further to the further reaches of the universe to become even stronger is paramount and a ket driving force to their being. This has inevitably led them to the Planet Novus and the arcane civilisations it plays home to.

The Cora Alliance is a spiritual civilisation with a firm belief in religion and the magical arts. Though the history of the Cora has been built on religious wars, which has created multiple states and nations, the faction is strongly unified through its core religious beliefs. The Cora people, united as the Holy Alliance, now battlefor their survival using the magical powers drawn from their spiritual beliefs and traditional weapons blessed by their god, Decem.

The Bellato Union utilise machines and some magic in their culture. Renowned for their great mechanical minds, intelligence and hand-eye coordination, the Bellato can construct huge armoured battle mechs and weapons to use in the war. Though they are physically strong and intelligent, the huge gravitational energies from their home planet have left the Bellato with smaller builds. The Bellato are experienced traders and their financial minds and greed have driven the need to extend out to other planets, to colonize and claim resources. To expend out to the rest of the univers, the Bellatohave to ensure that the Novus Sector doesn't fall under the supremacy of the Accretia or Cora. This desire to expand and grow will no doubt leave the galaxy engulfed in turmoil and chaos.

The epic race for supremacy has begun...
