Just an idea, why not have a guild start a Community Cats program, same idea as the Community OP but you just don't have an OP. This way any guild that wished to give Cats to the Community Cats program could and there would be nothing that would be fought over and lost such as an OP. This way all the OPs can be fought over as intended and the Homins that don't fight can get Cats.

I agree 100% with Neva. The community OP takes away from the game, if someone wants to collect donated cats from guilds for non-combatant guilds, it would be the best idea.

That actually does sound like a really good plan.

But the cats would have to be taken from guilds own personal cat supply, who's OP's were very much fought over. A good idea for some very generous guilds or say guilds with 2 OP's. It would take a Braveganzar to make something like this work though..and jeez wouldn't ya know it, she just retired *sigh*.

Sorry it came to this Brave, hopefully it's as much a weight off your shoulders as anything else. Dedicate the rest of the game to yourself, you deserve a break :D

Possibly the Community Guild could consists of like-minded people who enjoy helping the Community in the effort to gather all the stuffs. Instead of one person with tons of stress and a single target for immature acts, it could be divided up between the guild.

I bet no-one is willing to take the job atm... And I can see why. If someone from Eye of Atys or Dune farm farmers should take over, all the bashing would just continue. And almost no-one has ever reached out his neck to stand in and help the community ops. So I bet no one will do it now.

Its a sad, sad situation like a said already, but 200% understandable.

That was the original idea, and for a while it did work that way, but then some of those volunteers either dropped out of the project or left the game. Also the distribution list continued to grow, and two other outposts were added. So basically the workload kept growing and the 'community guild' shrunk down to one person... it was just about bound to end like this - Zysha suffered much the same fate while she was still here.

A discussion on how to design, run, and defend a community outpost might be a good one to start now, if we can all avoid the finger pointing and dwelling on the past that has plagued this topic up to now.

I can't say I blame Brave. All the time and worry that goes into being a community volunteer can really wear on a person. I am personally amazed Brave held up so long.
To a job well done, and may you all start fighting over the Outposts soon. :)
