To correct one of the incorrect statements, Melinoe's outpost has been attacked on several occasions. The only outposts that have never been attacked, to the best of my knowledge, are Southend Dune Farm (q200) and Twintops Workshop (q200).
Second correction: the Community ouposts have never been attacked.
Third correction: apparent smear that there are outpost owning guilds having only 3 active members. If directed at the KA guilds, this is false. All KA guilds are larger. A few are quite huge.

I only had one question that kept coming to my mind while listening to the segments. Are the OP's becoming a popularity contest and the factions and prelaunch literature doomed to lose all meaning?
judging from what ive heard about lore in game in comparison to op battles id say all that 'rp stuff' is losing meaning.

The community OP project are great for leveling (face it that is all OPs are for if you ignore the lore), it is a disaster for national and factional cultural identities. If everyone is on the same page, then there is only one story. That story belongs to the person who controls the book.
to my knowledge ops (all ops) arent part of any story, they are mechanism to get cats and op mats. if one goes to ask 20 people or put a vote up asking 'whats the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of ops' . i doubt its factional identity. i would bet most responses will be 'cats'.
