Was probably a patch for patching for the sake of patching, not yet sure about the fixing.
New Roadmap 2007-2008...
15 Sept 07: Patch as few more instability issues...
28 Sept 07: Try to patch for fixing the bug of Aug 07 Patch..
15 Oct 07: Patch a few more instability issues due to pacth of 28 Sept.
28 Oct 07: Patch again the fixes of the patch of the patch which did not patch.
15 Nov 07: Polish the last instability issues...
28 Nov 07: Sorry guys no patch: we recovering from 2 months hard work.
28 Dec 07: Cant guys sry is Christmas and NYE soon...
28 Jan 08: New patch is on ATS.... (1h stats or range probably).
28 Feb 08: New patch...
But that is just me explaining with approximate dates: you will not know for sure due to new policies: DO NOT TELL THE PLAYERS WHAT WE DO!!!

Omg O.o
that wasn't serious was it...? how low can we sink in the "lets not tell the players -anything-" category? thats ridiculous!
wait there was a patch? *sighs* i don't even wanna try patching.... i'll hold off till i have time to login tomorrow
No, that was dead serious, and the most bitter sarcasm I could muster. In essence, I wanted to convey much of the same meaning you did

No fix for me. Still crash when placing flags. Although now, I dont crash, when logging everytime. But instead now find for the first time crashing at op battles.

The patch went pretty well for me.
But anyway I was not getting the landmark crashes before nor other issues and after this nothing is changed to me.
I was trying to figure why many of you still lose all the landmarks. I never lost them also after crashes.
Could be possible it was because of the Tryker rite I have done much time ago, increasing them?? Maybe I got some Tryker protection!

(joking)

It was meant to fix the issues occuring when you switched desktops or added landmarks, but it seems that some of you are still having these under other circumstances than the one we fixed. If you happen to crash though, you won't lose your landmarks anymore.
We suspect that these issues aren't caused directly by the landmarks/desktops but are in fact linked to another action made earlier, the landmark/desktop use being what shows the problem at the end of the chain.
As we were not able yet to fully reproduce it, we welcome any detailed information/hint regarding what you did before crashing that may have had an incidence.

Only problem I had was a crash on relaunch, no problems in game and alt tabbing was fine for me.

Very shortly after the patch, I tried to set a landmark and promptly crashed with runtime error. Then, later, when I tried to log out, it crashed again with the runtime error. Nothing has changed for me.

I experienced a lot of crashes when accessing vendors during the last month, maybe this helps identifying the problem...

Please please please Marjo, would it be possible to have those information before patch?
Polls have been made on French and English forums, most of the player base (80%ish) is over 20-30 years old and has been playing this game for over a year....
It could means that 80% of the player-base is ready to help, giving good feedback to CSR for Dev to have good feedback. Then in turn to help improve things and reduce problems... for you and for us....
More info beforehand can not hurt anyone and will most probably save lot of time of CSR for reports/tickets of things which should not be reported as they have not been fixed yet...
