Not that I am sure of it, though i was told that when increasing zoom, the targets disappeared on long distance, same as when in game, u see a mob far away but not see its health bar and such...

in the hope that devs will lock config file options (i'm evil, what can i say)....
/tar does not work for entities whos name is not known (such as players, npc, probably some others). only when name is known to client (client "fetches" player/npc names when you click on them or they withing ~20M from you) /tar starts to work on them.
also, max zoom 10m, min zoom -200m, step 10 is maybe 1 sec zoom-in, 1 sec zoom-out
and the time zerg starts to move, you been able to click all the healers/nukers and /tar macro works again (yay!) (yes, i'm talking about auto/launcher use

Having negative minimum distances is purely exploitational.
Homins dont have built in binoculars!

The only time I feel I need more zoom is when I'm on a mount, hard to see where youre going when all you can see is the mounts behind.
If the zoom where to be any greater it would mess up the camera angles and would tend to cause problems for some.

edit:
I've removed this post. I'm sorry for introducing any negativity. That's not normally something I'd do. Mea culpa.
Dang it. *wipes tear from eye*
edit 2:
Daestny explained privately why my first post was removed. I understand the reasoning and withdraw any objection.
In any case, I and many others would like to see a greater range available for zooming out. No need to zoom in any more, IMO.

Happend to me once Sasi.. i have no idea what i said wrong and my post got deleted too! *shrug*
I think from reading all of this, i agree that the only time i could use more zoom - is when i'm on a toob's back. one of the biggest reasons i don't use my toob to get around is because i can't see where i'm going!!

i screen shot all my posts if i think they are even slightly riské
and forever, the increased zoom only increases the maximum accessable via the scroll wheel. u can leave it set IG to 5m if u wanted to anyway even with the "mod" done
devs: make negative camera values error. alow upto 50m max. jobs a good'n

Sasi,
If you wish to discuss why I removed your post feel free to PM me. My post was crystal clear and further discussion "clarifying" what GameForge owned services include are unnecessary and off topic.
Edited because free free was meant to be "feel free"
bad fingers!

Seems everyone is on the same team looking at the rulebook from different angles.

Luckily my mektoub is, like me, small. I LOVE riding my mount.
