Pyr benefits from an abscence of rainfall, after a decade or two you cant even notice the smell (as long as no one spills anything), but scholars are still debating whether thats from the material drying out, or simple trauma to the olfactory organs.

All the 'sand' in the desert, is sawdust... sawdust=wood... use of sawdust in the cunstrustion is what you are mistaking for something much nastier ... it figures your puny matis mind can't fgure that out!

Matis aren't Freddie Mercury. That's an insult to the great singer. Matis are kids who grew up wishing they were as cool as Johnny Depp, but twisted this obsessive love into a hatred of the living world. That's why they serve the Karavan and build so much stuff -- they want to use up all the natural resources of the world and carve it's empty husk into a monument to their fallen god, Depp. Then blow it up. You have to admit that that's pretty evil. The only merciful thing about that will be if they choose to use Depp from Willy Wonka as the template, then blowing it up would just be best for everyone.

The Fyros, on the other hand, grew up watching Thundercats, and possibly Chuck Norris. Now, I'm not sure where all this smell thing comes from, because everyone knows both thundercats and Chuck Norris are very clean -- the Matis, on the other hand, smell like three things.

1. Really strong berry perfume.
2. Hairspray.
3. Paint Thinner. I'll let you figure out why that might be.

Guess you can make up a lot of the character of a Fyros in this thread
