OK, OK. due to a couple of people sending me PM's and this post let me try to make it a bit clearer.

Right. First off, when you enter, you automatically get put into 3 leagues:
2H melee, Magic, and misc.

In each league you will have to fight everyone twice, using only the skills for that league. I.E 2H vs 2H.

You can choose to Fight on a day/time that suits you. In a place that also suits you I.E Once you know who else is in the league, you PM them and arrange a time/league/place. Once you both agree you meet up and fight.

Ideally you should have a 3rd person to watch the battle, but if you both take screenshots with your system info open and then send them to me that will also count. Note: you do not have to fight the same person more than once in one day if you do not want to.

So, once you have fought someone, then what? Well you either:

email your screenshot to me (tyilin@gmail.com) and post in the thread who you have fought. Once i receive the screenshot, I will update the league.

OR

All three parties (2 people who fought and the watcher) post in the thread with the same outcome of the same battle, then i will update the league. You will be awarded 3 points for a win, 2 points if you both die and 1 point if you lose. The points awarded will be added to that league and tally'ed up.

Once the league is updated you then find someone else on the list to fight, and chose a league to fight in. You keep going untill you have fought everyone in each league twice. So if 10 people eneter you will fight 18 times per league. So 54 times in total. Please bare in mind that there is no time frame, if you play a couple times a week you can still enter. But, relitivly speaking your time may be used more for this than people who play 50 hours a week.

Rules per match.

USE THE SKILL OF THE LEAGUE. Enchants can ONLY be used in the Magic League.

ALL AURA'S ARE AVALIBLE

THERE IS NO SPACE LIMIT (I.E If you want, you can Speed run thru a bunch of agro to escape and regen) note: NO TPING OUT AND NO HIDING IN ROOMS.

IF SOMEONE OUTSIDE OF THE DUEL INTERFEARS (IE AGRO DRAG, HEALING ETC) THEN THE DUEL IS POSTPONED. IF IT CAN BE PROVEN THAT IT WAS DELIBERATE, POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED.

Also, please note that you are allowed to forfit if you dont want to fight.

Question: is the fight gear orientated or fight skill orientated?

Cos it gave me an idea which i will use as suggestion

Lets ask some HA, MA, LA and weapon crafter to make some choice stuff (ok, not for amps) but amps could be viewed in trade window by both party to make sure its fair

All fighter wear same gear...
I am willing to dig 500 to 1k choice mats to make gear and distributed to all contestant of needed..

So from there no complaint about gear: skill only.
Someone name the mats for armur and weapons so all have the same

Or.. u can use the idea for next event

A shame about the league boundaries.... melee / magic / ranged seems much more logical to me. Or are ranged users still that rare?

Oh, how about letting me use daggers in the 2H category? They take both hands to swing

btw im not doing this unless melee is opened up to ALL Melee skills (obv not ranged as thats not melee)

my primary melee is not a 2h skill unless im just gonna loose with my low level skill on every match xD

i suggest your categories be "Melee" "mage" and "unrestricted" ie ANYTHING goes!

One day I'll be all grows up and can play with the big boys/girls. Until then I'm killin yubos and watching from the sidelines!

If daggers take up both of your hands, then sure. they are in the 2H class. if you were to use one dagger it would be in the misc class

The thing is that a spear (well after the patch all 1handers should have a bit of a advantage over 2handers) user have alot of advantages over most 2handers... just like a 2hander have advantages over a mage... Separating the meele skills is a good idea in my eyes... also you can grind up a 2hander to 200+ rather quick (2-5 days)... if it even takes you a week or 2 i will not ask for a 2handed fight with you till you reach a decent skill level.

spear is over rated nower days, a good 2h axe user will beat spear 90% of the time, back in the day pike was amaaaazing, then it was nerfed and those few people who did spear took contol, now every keen pvper is master spear there is plenty of time to practice against them and the advantage is slowly going.

1h spear has the edge on one handed duels if people know what their doing, i think if equal gear and skills dueling with 2h its a real tough call which is "best", axe is great but sword will beat it the majority of the time, pike should beat axe.

these are my thoughts and they are not off hand comments, ive done 1,000s of duels with someone else who is master all 2h weapons, analized results ect, i'd like to think i know what im talking about.

Gear matters but not as much as people with rubbish gear like to make out

You'd want to duel range vrs melee or mage with rangers being able to use their advantage of shooting and running? In real pvp (PR suprise attacks) running around with an AL or launcher rules, but having a 55m+ range would make the duel pointless. make the duels so people have to stay still vrs ranged then i'd say its worth doing.
