That would perhaps depend on those participating. Of course it could generate a palaver, like the polish politicians enjoy lol

True, but i know politics is a rather sensitive subject for most. Also by stating rules and then teaching "politics" would most likely leave you open to criticism, sense everyone knows those who teach have true power. Dont get me wrong, I dont believe you would be bias in any sense, just you be leaving yourself a bit open.

I think that'd sorta be the point Bis, and as being a ring scenario i'm pretty sure whoever is in charge of scenario can kick out those who start too much ruckus? .. though i'm sure we could always make a battle-ground area for people to kill each other if they _really_ disagree

(is there PvP in Ring..? its so underused i can't remember!)

If I were to lead a political class, then constructive critic is welcome and invited. It is through discussion one learns. And anyone attending any class do so by their own volition, just like in the real world.

Besides, in politics there are no real true or false. Politics are more like social projects on a grand scale, where the best utilizes what is known to us at any given time.
History teaches us that our conseptions on right and wrong, true or false, shifts over time. This understanding also shifts according to the social structure and culture.

The best we can hope for is to identify the modality of the time, and use that as best we know how.

*edit* 'I'm not that interested in doing something political, at least not at an early stage'

Whoa, ok, a RL University so to say. Oo

That´s truly a huge undertaking
I´d help, but whoa... I´ve got a new job comming and I don´t realy know if I´d be qualified to teach german, more then the usual stuff, like easys phreases for day to day use ;)

Even I don´t always get our grammar :D ;)

It might be a huge undertaking, but why not? Having seen most of Atys I need something beside the usual things to keep me interested.

If we were to do, say german, I could aid you with teaching syntax and basics. But I am in no way fluent in german, as I only studied a two year course in just one year. One tends to learn fast when one get a hold of the basics ;) All in all I've studied 7 languages.

As for the time schedules, this will have to be adjusted to fit our needs. So there's no need to feel overwhelmed, it's not like we will have an exam. The idea is to have a great time doing something one is sincerely interested in, and would like to share with others.

Struggling to develop together with others is one of the cool ways to make friends, wouldn't you say?

At the moment I am reading this book
Die unbekannte Welt der Maya by Linda Scheele and David Freidel; Weltbild Verlag.

Nothing is impossible eh? It is only a little more work.

But as I tried to say from the start, the topic should be chosen by a group and if there's an interest, we might do several groups or classes.
The point is to make friends who share the interests you have, friends you might not have found anywhere in your circle of friends. Together such a group may do the difficult, less difficult... and so much more enjoyable

First I'd like to express my gratitude to those few who thinks this could be interesting, and who bothered to answer.

I am an intuitive, and would have dropped this if no-one bothered to express their interest. But I need someone of a different temperament to see this trough. As an intuitive I need a person who can pick up an idea and keep sustaining it. So who will be the one to keep "bugging" me?

An idea can be great, but it's of no value at all if it isn't put into action.

Thus, I am inviting any who find they got time to do something beside chasing the next level. Send me an ingame mail, or pm me when you see me.

At this initial stage, I don't wish to set up a time and ask you to show up. Experience has shown me that doesn't work well. Later, when we have decided where to start, we can start posting times and topics.
