Thats probably the Key right there

Nevrax went bankrupt and GameForge bought the game in receivership. They seem to be taking the prudent step of slowly fixing and adding things rather than the gamble the life of the game by throughing hugh sums of money at it and hoping to get a decent ROI.
Seeing as how I love this game and have seen other games go straight to crap when the toss money approach was implemented, I'm pretty happy to see them in action.

receivership ??? English isn`t my native language. Not sure I understand.
As for GameForge wanting to get rid of the bugs first, it is a wise decision. There is nothing more aggravating in a game then constantly having to face irrating bugs that just stay there in the game. I know, my BF2 has one which I opened up a ticket 18 months ago and it still hasn`t changed. So as effect, I do not play BF2 anymore.

GameForge bought the company from the creditors in bankruptcy court. Thats the easiest way i can think of rephrasing it for a non english speaker.

I think most who have played since launch will agree with me that putting some of your suggestions into the game would be great. But firstly we need content. We have been stagnant far to long with the finacial issues. Those of us left need something soon. I have been supporting this game for a long time waiting for the Saga to move forward. We are a mature and patient group by nature as Ryzom isn't a level to 60 and be done with it game but the limits we will hold on are being stretched.-Kilgoretrout Proud Guild Leader of the Ballistic Mystix.

How you mean ? I've oft been told by TS that there is no z axis in the programming. This accounts for why you can't step over even the smallest of objects and why you can get smacked by a Vorax while in an underground cave when he is 50m above your head. I even remember, before they were moved outta range, getting killed by mobs down in scorched corridor while crossing Fyros Bridges.
Now you just reminded me of something from the ole NA FBT days .... somewhere on my HD I have screenshots of "Rudolph the Red Nosed Capryni"....caught him once walking on "sky roots" in void and once flying in the air over Dune Stalker hill near Pyr.

I never understood either until I took a break from Ryzom and tried WoW for a while. There, if a root or ledge is blocking your way, you jump over it. Coming back to Ryzom I had several days of trying to jump over roots and being annoyed when I couldn't, until I got used to it again. It doesn't really add anything to the game, it's just that everyone's used to jumping.
Though Ryzom does have an advantage in that too, at least here you can't jump off a ledge and find you can't jump back on again, like it happened so often to me in WoW.
