Every of your support tickets gets a ticket number, and you can ask the CSR if he is willing to give it to you in the case you may want to add more information to a give problem at a later time.

I too would prefer, if there were an automatic means that send you the information about your trouble ticket as an ingame mail.

You have an automated link to check status of ticket submission IG: it is called a CSR

You ticket, they automatically pm you back and say "hello, I am xxx (CSR), thank for your ticket, please precise this this this..."
