hmm, lets see here... I'm gunna go with the word... W00T!
Nice stuff, while your tweaking with this sorta stuff maybe you can just do one more tiny little thing...

"You are too far away from the source (by like a step), please get closer" - FREAKING MOVE ME TO IT THEN! :D

I bet I can do it! :D

Great improvements all, and I think the double-click option to attack will make things much safer when sneaking. Whilst digging you'll have to triple-click to accidentally mistarget a mob and attack it, and you'll still have the equip time to realise the error and cancel the action. Currently the default action only checks the actions available on your current handbar, doesn't it, so if you don't have any offensive actions on your digging handbar you'll still be safe? Can't remember if you can just use Default Attack anyway. Presumably the new auto-equip-last-weapon won't also auto-select-offensive-handbar?

I bet you can still do it by accident, though Riveit :D

Edit: Duh, yes, remembered that default attack works anytime anyway, when you've a weapon equipped.

I still like #5, but would like to see auto-equip as an option that can be bound to a keystroke, like switching Dodge/Parry.

I like most of what I see. :)

The one thing that bothers me is #5, like others have said there will be lots of harvesters and crafters killed or attack by herbivores. I can see my self harvesting in a herd of Yelk and clicking on one, I would then equip my amp and start punching the poor Yelk and them would soon die after all it's friends killed me.
Is this a PvP fix? This may be ok if it only works on Homins.

I just don't see the need to have the game force a weapon into my hands if I'm crafting, and if I'm digging I have no problem equiping my amp as it is now.

The karavan TP in Elusive Forest is in a thick patch of Jublas, the recommended technique for buying a ticket from it without having to fight them all .. was to go in there with your pick equipped.

Having a pick equipped meant you were in a fixed non-aggressive mode. and there are times when this is important. I get really irritated by fat aranas and yelks obscuring my sources, but attacking them isn't the solution.

Switching away from an equipped tool should be a deliberate action. not random click spasming. Put "attack" as an alternative (not primary) option on the RMB menu (between "quit team" and "destroy equipment" (j/k) ).. and then go with the changing weapon etc etc..

..as a logical progression from this, if changing equipment is going to become an automated action, will we be able to include it in macros and/or hotkey it ?

I like being safe from misclicking on the herbivores mobbing around me while I dig. Currently holding a pick keeps you safe from those accidents while digging
If you accidently click the animal once, then you are safe. You would have to double-click it to now attack it. so prehaps its less likely that you will. Tho, sure, you will have to double-click the source.

i wonder how widespread this "i'm lazy to equip my pick, i better just double click source" is....

imho "dbl click to equip" should removed. and only keep the "start default action" part. then if you have pick, you dont attack anyone/thing even when double clicking (can still forage that way) and if you have weapon (or rather dont have pick/tool) in your hand, you still can attack with "dbl click on target".

You mean like teleportting to the Karavan altar in EI and double-clicking on the altar while it is sieged by 20 Kipee? So no safe mode anymore.

Please tell me that you dont just aimlessly run up to a TP clicking frequesntly without care?

Now, common, It's REALLY not that hard to not attack a creature.

*Clicks* *looks at target* - it's a mob
*adjusts camera and moves mouse*
*Clicks* *looks at target* - It's the TP
*looks at mouse pointer* - it says "buy TP pact" (cant remeber exact phrase)
*clicks* - Anatti runs towards TP, runs thru the mob and trade window pops up.

shesh, so hard

*looks at mouse pointer* - it says "buy TP pact" (cant remeber exact phrase)
*double-clicks* - Trini drops her pick and equips her AMPs and punches the Kipee real hard (#!$%&? Kipee moved between me and the Karavan Altar)
* Kipee stuns Trini, 5 other Kipee join in in the bashing.

But no problem, because that option can be disable ;)
