the spires looks to me like some major part of the lore. If it's "unavoidable" then why not make sure that ony tagged players are affected by the consequences of a dominated region ? There's no reason why neutral people should be affected.

.. and make tagging up (or off), 1 real money
imho if you factioned, you not neutral. "only joined faction for teleports" thinking should stop.
... and this line of thinking is also reason why current spire document is hated so much.... kami/karavan dont mean a thing. you cant do anything for your faction. you faction dont do anything for you. faction is just for teleports currently (and best part is that civilizations too dont care what faction you are).

bad is that we are living now for more than a year with a broken, unbalanced OP design that makes the strong stronger.
Worse would be to implement something that allows the stronger side to take even more impact on the gameplay experience the members of the weaker side have. I for myself will then see no point in continuing playing.

But be it the other way around and you being the stronger side, you would think differently.
There is always going to be moaners about everything you do, how can you moan when you havent seen what happens :S

hard to tell, but i don't think so, i hate both, games that are too easy and games i can't win
There is always going to be moaners about everything you do, how can you moan when you havent seen what happens :S
its very easy to withdraw to the standpoint that everyone who isn't of my opinion is moaning. And i see quite clearly whats happening for more than a year now.

You'd be amazed but not all winners think like this. I have experience with both sides. And I do have all my old core guild coming from SWG to testify for it. If you belive all winners are happy to win (even more and even easier) and all underdogs are moaners, you really have a twisted view on the player base, in high content, complex games that filter their players towards the more adult side.
When the winning side was too powerful, the main guild on our server went in mass to the other faction. Why? Because they weren't happy to win too easy.
When after two years the underdog became winning faction, people showed up only to defend friend guilds (at normal hours, nobody woke up in the middle of the night for a war), not all of them: those who enjoyed pvp, not for all wars just because they knew it was too easy to win and no fun at all in the game anymore (and for sure, they lost some wars because of this, and so what: it was intense fight and fun).

OPs suck, Spires will suck, and all the karavan that have ever nuked me suck... oh and anyone who healed them sucks too.
Really tho, I'v always hated spires, Cus I have an idea of what might happen shortly after their release, But if done correctly for Ryzom, The could be fun... or maybe they will just suck

I gave my idea for them awhile ago, not gonna bother looking it up... I'v lost intrest in OPs tbh, I was gonna goto the one friday, but was MIA the whole weekend due to RL stuff... And tbh, Im not to sad about missing all the battles this weekend. Maybe because I don't care if Kami win anymore, and don't really wanna go Kara

lol
Anyway, only posting cus im bored lol... *dips*
