Well sorry ya didn't stay a little longer. We have much in common. Your description of playing with ya son in a world like this is exactly what brought me here. My form does a lot of "beta" work for software firms and used that "resume" to get in Ryzom in early beta stages. Originally was looking to 'score some "cool dad" points with my then 13 year old and get him away from Blizzard. But I wound up getting hooked and so did my 10 year old.

We has much the same experience as you except we found a family oriented guild. I'm now 52 and he's 12. Our guild has 6 or 7 kids whose parents are or have been GL's of other guilds. We have one grandfather / grandson pair, several hubby / wifie pairs and several other familiy combos. As a neutral guild we seem to have avoided the teenage trouble as I guess most of us have either too little or other uses for our testoserone .

I regret not having had the chance to meet you and your son in game. It would have been fun to meet up and play with you both.
