Id like to say goodbye in name of Nookie and my little brother Spieko.
We had some good times and i hope he will find the same peace in death as in life.
Farewell Dever!

I am saddened to learn of the loss of such a cherished member of our community. Sixxus/Dever/Wormbreath was an intergral part of Ryzom. Atys will be a little less bright today with his loss.To all his family in RL and in TNE my condolences.-Kilgoretrout Guild Leader Ballistic Mystix

It makes me so sad to think of Sixxus/Dever passing away that I don't know what to say. Any words I could muster up wouldn't do justice to such a kind and caring person. You will be missed :(

I never knew Dever as the leader of TNE, but as wormy and Dever. There was never a cruel word from him, and he protrayed Wormbreath very well and I greatly enjoyed playing/rping with him. I am very upset that he had to leave...

This was sad news when i logged on to read the Forums today.I Only met Sixxus once and that was in a Kitin invasion going back a few years,like a try Leader of TNE he was leading from the Front,even if he got killed many times he would jump right back into the the Battle.I also spoke to him a few times as Dever(CSR),Always willing to Listen to and help when he could...You will be sadly missed in TNE and Ryzom.

Rest in peace good man, though I´ve never met you :(

This is one of my favorite irish traditionals and I think it´s well suited
to bid farewell to a Community Member and a Pirate, who passed away so suddenly, but gently as it seems.

*sings in a soft voice*
Of all the money e'er I had, I spent it in good company;
And all the harm I've ever done, alas it was done to none but me;
And all I've done for want of wit, to memory now I can't recall,
So fill me to the parting glass, goodnight and joy be with you all.

If I had money enough to spend and leisure time to sit awhile,
There is a fair maid in this town who sorely has my heart beguiled.
Her rosy cheeks and ruby lips, I own she has my heart in thrall,
So fill me to the parting glass, goodnight and joy be with you all.

Of all the comrades e'er I had, they're sorry for my going away,
And all the sweethearts e'er I had , they wish me one more day to stay,
But since it falls unto my lot that I should rise and you should not,
I'll gently rise and softly call, goodnight and joy be with you all.

But since it falls unto my lot that I should rise and you should not,
I'll gently rise and softly call, goodnight and joy be with you all.

All the best to his family.

I honestly am at a loss for words! He will be sorely missed! :( As stated by many others Dever/ Sixxus/ Tidings was a very kind and likable person. There was also a very playfull and mischieveous side to him as well. I remember one of a few evenings he and I were discussing the IRL NA while he was preforming his CSR duties. He was telling jokes to me in tells and mointoring the Uni channel, every once in a while he'd have to give a nudge to the uni channel to get back on topic, then he'd send me a tell saying the person he just warned is asking for a muting in his pirate persona. I'd get a chuckle out of it and we'd go back to talking about the IRL NA or he'd toss out another joke. /deep bow and sheds a tear

There is an empty feeling, a feeling of loss, knowing that a man so bouyant, enthusiastic and easy-going is no longer with us. I have known Dever for the past 2 years, as part of the forner CSR team. He is a real character that will always be in my memory.

To work with he was great, he loved the character roles in events, Wormbreath and Skipper being perhaps the ones he was most fond of. You could give him any role to play for any occasion and he not turn it down nor disappoint in the role. He'd allow his calm and joviality to settle the nerves of others, his voice having a similar effect on nerves too, Also an accent that reminded me of a 'pirate' jack Nicholson will be missed.

Bon Voyage Doug, your memory with be with myself and others as if you'd never passed on.

I recall being asked to do a drawing for Dever. The request included him being sketched with a pirate patch and a mountain of kegs behind him or other such piratey paraphernalia. I was rather confused, as, though I'd not met Dever at the time, I knew he was a Matis (and so, kinda pale and land based) and the words Atys and pirate had never seemed related in my mind...

....I was clearly lacking in the imagination of this great man, for upon meeting Dever, Atys was only whole with a goodhearted 'yarr'.

He's enjoyment of life (and pirates) was infectious and I know I was in constant awe of how creative and kind he was. Just knowing him was a pleasure.

I don't really want to think about the world without him.
