Pardon me for saying so, but did you ever stop to think that in most games, when a patch is added, there is MUCH more than what is stated will be included in the patch. Maybe if you wait long enough and then read the patch notes, you'll find out more than you expected was "fixed/added/whatever else".

But like it or not, no matter what the devs in ANY game try to do to make the players content, there will ALWAYS be whiners.

Personally, I'm enjoying the game. sure it's laggy on my current computer, but that will be fixed as soon as I get a new CPU and then I'll be one that is ENJOYING the game. Good Day.

If I wait "long enough" ...LOL....yeah...I know...if YOU wait long enough then feel free to tell the multiude of people who quit that the game got good. Post if here, then we can all come back when the time is right. I don't see how certain bugs got by beta...in fact..it's almost like they said "screw it, send it anyways" ...I'm almost positive of that. Now if I was a developer I would be patching as many bugs as as the team could in as little time possible. You don't NEED to wait till you have 5 bugs fixed to release a patch. HOTFIXES are needed...for oh..let say...the Tryker problem. That is one race that the harvester/crafters are screwed. FIX it...if you call the "whining" then you obviously are blinded by the fanboi shine they all seem to have.

I have said it before and will say it again. This game is fun at lower level yes...but once you get to 100+ it's get pretty STALE with no quests....no loot, no nothing...nothing but killing over and over for the next level. Nothing to space it out...or..if your a crafter..it's even worse. Harvesting....well....PRAY you don't have a GM watrching you pull because the next time you log in there will be hostile spawns on top of that location. This has happened to many people over and over. AS for mages? well...if your not one..then your a lot less powerfull than those that are. Since you can cast with armour on (although at a higher cost), the ONLY combo to be is a "fighter-mage" ..hit them with spells at range then switch to your 2handed weapon and kill it. *yawn*

Patch 2 better come sooner than later..because it has the quest system in it...as more and more people get to the higher levels (say 80+) the feeling os "grinding" is becoming more and more apparent. Thjose that are saying "I'm having fun at this level" ..well...some people like counting trees..I'm sre that's fun for some...but most people get bored of it after awile.

I also agree with the post by unregistered. Let me point out a couple things though. (And, I am not 'unregistered', I wouldn't use the word moron so much.)

Content of Patch One and Patch Two were released shortly after the game released amid a flurry of complaints about missing content. It was released to show that they are working on implementing promised content very soon. It was an attempt to keep people playing despite the obvious lack of things that have to be included to make the world concept whole.

Patch One and Patch Two are promising NEW content and adjustements, it does not promise bug fixes. It wouldn't be appropriate to list any bugs in those lists. So, the Tryker harvesting problem would not be included in the list - and would you want them to wait until Patch One installs, or patch it as soon as it is fixed?

Patch One and Patch Two are an invitation to keep playing because there are these features ON THE HORIZON. Sure, there is lack of content NOW. Sure, we have level 100s getting bored. Nevrax is a merchant trying to supply a product people will pay for. They fully understand Boobits' threat to leave the game.

As an aside, this board is owned & moderated by Nevrax. Why do you think they let people rant here about the game? Because there may be some constructive value to what gets posted! We aren't being ignored here like we would be on other developer owned boards.

As another aside, the comment about the word IS, was not political - it is now part of the American language meaning "I didn't lie, you just didn't understand what I said".

I don't know where you're getting your information from, but GMs don't have the tools to spawn any mobs. You're free to rant all you want but please don't make things up.
